I'm curious how long it takes to record VA for a companion. I was tempted to tweet one of the VAs the other day and ask how long it was between them recording and the game being released. That might give us a rough estimate of when the game will be out.

Wow is that it? Although I guess if you put the companions script together it's probably only about an hour or so of full dialogue?

Yeah, I'd say the protagonist would take longer because he/she has to talk pretty much constantly to hundreds of characters and NPC's with several different response outcomes, plus environment reactions and battle cries etc.

Nothing new on You Tube at the present just the rumors that we already know. I did find a tid bit of old info from May 2011. It was confirmed that Bioware DA team was looking to hire a new enviormental artist . I know they filled that bill quickly Im sure. So thats all I have at the momment.

I guess they started laying the ground work last year then.

Absolutely. It was in the works before that even. As far as LI's being familir characters I say Cass and Amell cousin would work for the guys.

Aye but remember how short DA2 was...wasn't DAO about twice as long? It felt it... So you could maybe expect it to take closer to 10 days to a fortnight if we're looking to get a game a bit closer in length to Origins...

Laidlaw said it would be longer than 2 but not as long as Origans middle of the road. You know they have dlc for it too.

Hey guys! How are you all? Since all my assignments are done and dusted, I can go back to talking about Dragon Age! ... And it seems I've missed a lot. Huh...

So, I was wondering. If the Warden was to appear in DA3, do you think he or she should talk? And if the Warden is a female Amell Mage, how do you think Cullen would take the reunion? And how do you think the DA3 protagonist should react to the revelation of his past relationship if they're on the romance path?

EDIT: I fired up Mass Effect 1 for the first time in five months, and I made a rather . . . interesting discovery. I was playing through the very first mission in Eden Prime, and I found a couple of survivors who had locked themselves in a room to protect themselves.

And what did one of them say when they say when they saw it was my Femshep? "Thank the Maker!"

Bioware has a awesome task if they go that Route, Could be another Ashley Liara sinario or Kaidan and Garrus or Jacob oh its do able.

I'm hoping the Warden doesn't show up in DA3, sooo many things could go wrong with it, like if he/she doesn't sound or look like we imagined, behave how he/she did in our game, or if he/she doesn't recognised who they romanced in DA:O. Too many variables.

Yes, I remember some dev or other saying that Xenon the Antiquarian came about because Nick Boulton was phonenally phenomenally bored with recording barks. (Wow, I can't even blame the phone for that typo since I'm at my work computer.)

I hope we get a little bit of info after this weekend hopefully some video upload on You Tube I dont trust rumors. Only what the Devs had said. So If its not from the horses mouth it aint worth Squat to me.
