Oh I don't actually have Twitter, I just go on the site and look at the tweets from the devs who don't have protected accounts lol. I should probably set one up though.

It's tragic, innit? And when I do get on, it's not nearly long enough to really enjoy it. Bah...

Anyways.... I'm compiling a playlist of all the songs I've used for various Cullen fics and it's interesting to see the range. Of course different stories with altogether different vibes or content means that the songs should be varied but I've got Five Finger Death Punch and Celtic Woman on the same list. Several times each even! Soooo I was wondering who was interested in seeing it?

OMG, love the drink ideas... Makes me wonder if we needa Cullen craft prompt for page 500. Drink titles/recipes, meanie's Templar cookies, was it Shades of Pale's(?)  Lonaargh's Templar necklace...? You guys are all so creative, it could be cool!

Of course, at this rate pg 500 may be, like, tomorrow...

500 pages could very well be soon. I could try and group the songs together according to the fic they're for and a snippet of what each is about. Thing is, many are repeated because they represent facets of Cullen and since he's a pretty solid guy, the same songs apply in some instances. It's just that I was sitting here thinking I haven't contributed much to this thread - partly because I'm busy and partly because I'm trying to stay away frm the wild speculation - and thought I'd share my "Cullen music". hehehehe... There's more than I realized... ehehehehe...  Of course, it's not all "about Cullen". Much of it is about other things/people but they're from stories I've been trying to write so they all go into the Cullen playlist.

Consequently, this little endeavor has made me painfully aware how badly I need new music. I could easily spend hundreds on new tunes if I had the money.

You know, now that they allow URL links at ff.net, you could always have a link to your playlists for each story. You could put them on tumblr or something... It would be a cool multimedia way to experience your stories!

It would, I do agree. But I have only published one Cullen fic. It's also not finished and since ff.net decided to be prudes, I haven't had the heart to finish it. The rest of my stories - most of them unsuitable for ff.net - are still languishing unfinished on my HD. I have two that I'm really plugging away at and they also have the most songs per fic than all the others. The songs help me envision the scenes and sequences I want to write so the bigger they are, the more "mental music videos" I have written out. Sometimes the thing that spurred me to write a story was one song that I had a compelling mental image with. What I need to do is establish a new fic archive. I used to use livejournal but it's more of a personal rant journal these days. ff.net would find 90% of my stories too adult and I just haven't bothered with building a portfolio anywhere else, like AO3. So I should probably remedy that and get stuff up in one place.

It's too bad, IMO, that AO3 isn't more widely trafficked. I think the interface and organization is pretty slick. I like ff.net, too, but as you mentioned, there are ... Limitations. LOL

But you should get your stuff out there! (she says completely unselfishly...).

I'll see your selfishness and raise you lazyness. Speaking of lazy... I did read your first 2 chapters that you sent me of that one fic. God I'd really thought I'd have time to read and critique it! <_< But life got crazy with my husband's company going under and everything. So I've read it and really there were only a few minor things - which I don't recall offhand right now - that I made note of. I'll have to dig up the file so I can try sending it to you again if you're still interested.
