Erm, lemme think...

We know the world we be at war with itself like David Gaider said at PAX.
That DA3 will be set in Orlais for at least some of the game
Cullen is in it in some capacity
The Templars have broken away from the Chantry
The Mages have rebelled and the circles are no more
The protagonist will be voiced
We will be able to customise our character like usual
The art style will be the same/very similar to DA2
That it's definitely in production despite no official announcement lol

When it comes to DA3, how do you hope the romance process will progress? For example in DA2 in order to strike up a romance it felt like all you did was flirt a handful of times, shag them and then move them into your home, between those actions very little was said/done to even suggest that the selected LI was even interested in you and once they moved in the romance aspect of things seemed to cease.

So, how would you guys like to see the process pan out? Give examples/lists of the sort of things you'd like to see.

I kinda liked the way DAO did the romance thing. You really had to talk to the character and pick the right choices for them to begin to like you. I agree that in DA2 with the little heart symbol thing, it felt like it was too easy and obvious to get someone to like you romantically. I also really like how in DAO if you flirted with different characters, they would confront you and make you choose. That seemed more realistic to me. I guess I like some drama in my games :P

But I really don't know what better way they could do it. I would definitely like more interaction after you complete the romance because sometimes it seems like you're alone and didn't even romance anyone. Like in Act 3 of DA2, nothing really happened romance wise until the very end or if you romance Fenris when he apologizes.

Idk I think I was talking about this with someone but.....I want the romance to go with the story/Pc,and not having every each romance go the same way just with different people.

Here's what I'd like to see:

I'd like to see more interaction with the new protagonists companions in general, akin to how it was in DA:O. As for romance, I'd like the option to be able to get to know the potential LI's background, childhood etc before hand rather than just flirting a handful of times, shagging them then moving them into your house like they did in DA2. 

Ideally the LI would start out as an acquaintance, who we get to know firstly as a friend as we learn their likes, dislikes, personality traits and a little of their personal story as they grow to trust you, then gradually introduce the flirting, just subtlety at first to test the waters so we can figure out what kind of approach gets the best results. As the LI starts to respond positively to the flirting it would be cool if maybe we could catch him/her giving the protagonist shy wistful looks, checking the protagonist out (and getting caught by other companions doing so), getting a little jealous if an NPC tries to flirt etc. As things progress you'd start to learn more details about the LI as he/she confides in the protagonist about things that happened to them in the past etc, leading to a personal quest that plays out slightly different conversationallt if you're trying to pursue him/her romantically. Finally you get the sex scene, which hopefully would be unique to each individual LI, taking into account their type of personality etc hopefully no more fade to black fully clothed scene... Not that it should be full frontal nudity, but something similar to the ME3 sex scenes would work, with the right camera angles and artistic lighting/mood/atmosphere etc it would be easy enough to avoid showing ****** 'n' arse while still keeping things engaging lol. Aaand once the protagonist and LI are officially an item I would like to see the LI become worried/scared if the protagonist badly injures themself and have the protagonist react to that rather than just stand there looking derpy, have the option to hug/kiss the LI when they're in camp/the home hub and generally have them behave like a couple.

Really?? Wow that sucks! haha I have only been able to get to the end with Fenris. I have a current playthrough that I play once in a while with Anders as my Li. I guess they thought that one kiss was enough from him. It was very good but I thought he would do it again in the end :crying:

You know how on the dialog wheel you would pick a answer and your character would say something totally different . If I remember correctly they are going to work on that so what you pick is what you get I believe.

All I remember about the end of mine with Anders and I was a Mage that we were gonna run off and have little mage babies lol.

All this sounds perfect!

I really like the shy, wistful looks thing. I don't think I've ever seen that in a game. They have talked about it like when someone mentions Fenris giving Hawke puppy eyes, but never actually shown it.

I really liked it actually. Not because of the full nudity but because it seemed like the real thing and not all cheesy and funny.
