1. The LI would tell you that they'll come to your house "if your interested" (or at least Anders did), so you knew he was coming round to declare his love and them shag you, which really ruined the surprise and romance of it all... Especially when he does it right infront of a dead body in his clinic that's been laying there for years.
2. The LI never gave you a present. After all you do for them, even giving them gifts and they don't even say thank you a lot of the time. Bastards.
In DA3 I'm hoping that when romantic scenes happen, the environment is a little more... Appropriate. I mean, sh!t, if you're going to tell someone that you lay awake every night aching for them and then plant one hell of a kiss on their lips then at least make sure the ambience is right LOL! I'm also hoping that the DA3 LI's will give the protagonist meaningful gifts, so maybe Cullen could give the protagonist something of his that he'd had since he was a child, or his Templar ID locket, or maybe even something that reminded him of her.
Which leads me onto a question. What sort of gift do you think he would give the protagonist and what sort of gift do you think he would like to receive (aside from a ****** LOL!)

OMG.....one off the thing that really made me mad about Anders was that he gave his mothers pillow to Varric...like really?!
I know! I was like, er WTF Anders! I know Varric put you on his tab at the Hanged Man, but who's the mug that let's you move into her house after one sex session, tolerates your moaning about the mages plight, keeps your sorry arse from getting sent to the Gallows, runs around after you collecting sh!t and ****** out of sewers so you can blow up the Chantry and then spares your life after you blew up an innocent woman and cost me a friend in the process. If anything that guy owes Hawke a holiday!

LMFAO your bad. Anyway to answer your question. I think if we're in Orlais say you been to a shop and theres all kinds of goodies and you and another party member talk about something you saw he hears the conversation and doesn't forget.Later at a oppertune moment he gives you the item you were looking at in admiration. Then you know. As for a gift for him I'm not sure because we don't know enough about him.LolaLei wrote...

Lol, nothing meaningful then? Don't forget he's an inexperienced guy, so whatever he gives the protagonist is likely to be something he considers meaningful, rather than something that he could get her anytime like weapons or jewellery.

Dammit! Stupid glitch on my game!

I liked Angry Fenris, but I'd prefer him push me against a wall instead of me push him. lol. I'm such a bottom.

Yeah, that would have been cheesy if it wasn't for the fact that he told us that it was the only thing the blight hadn't tainted and that it was the remaining piece of beauty in a world full of ugliness, which reminded him of your Warden. So although it would normally be an unoriginal gift, under the circumstances in which he gave it to her made it unique and special.

Agree with all of this!Avejajed wrote...
cacey lee wrote...
But Avejajed..would you agree that their should be more depth to each Li?
Of course, but I don't think it has to be traslated into naughtier sex scenes, like some people do. I think a deeper, more intense or meaningful romance can be had by other means, such as more reactive chat scenes, small moments (such as Alistair's rose), and honestly I think a big part of it will just be solved by more interaction- period, and a slower build up. That was my big problem with, say, Anders romance. It went from kissing to I love you to I'm moving in practically in the same scene.
What I want more than anything is to be flirted -with- and not to have to do all the flirting myself. lol.
So to me- slower pace, more interaction, and small personal moments will help add the extra depth to my LI's that I want- if that is done right I don't think the sex scenes need anything extra.
I do hope they lose the ugly underwear though- and I'd love to have a longer -afterglow- moment instead of hopping right back into armor for the morning after conversation.

I hope they bring back the outside to....but maybe a cool tent;)(is it weird that I want a cool tent? haha)LolaLei wrote...
I wonder in what sort of environment the sex scene will happen in DA3? I'm DA:O we had the camp site... In Morrigans tent :-S, and in DA2 it would occur in Hawke's bedroom. Is it weird that I'm hoping it'll be outside again? Ideally, each LI's sex scene would occur somewhere different, just to make them more tailored to each character.
