I doubt I'm going to be able to come up with anything by page 500. At the rate we're going, that will be tomorrow, and I just don't write that fast. Besides, this weekend, another modder and I are committed to an enormous joint coding and assembly project, so free time is going to be something that happens to other people.

Maybe I could have something by page 1000. That should be sometime next week.

Might I actually ask a question that's hopefully not revealing anything unrevealable? We are terribly curious around here about the VO process, being a character thread and all. It must be amazing seeing an actor bring your words to life. Do you, the writer, get to ... I dunno, direct or prompt at all, the actor to get the characterization right, or is there a "director" who does that sort of thing?

We have a person who directs the actors that come in. Mostly the writers are there to clarify any comments we wrote in our notes, or provide pronounciation, or lore facts. Stuff like that. But our people who direct the actors interact with them the most.

At what stage in the game production process does VOing take place?

I'm not sure, but you would think at least after the script. I'm thinking it's probably one of the first things. Because you would need to make sure the story is going good, and if something is working animation wize, there would be a few different things to choose from.

I'm pretty sure it's a the top of the list though.

If Alistair has a fave food, cheese, what do you think Cullen's would be?
