No not at all Vamp.....do what feels right to you....I was just saying wow thats long lolI have this problem, I like to write...and draw...my hobbies is a list a mile long...ocd also in there...yeah...
Not long at all. Usually two hours. But then I reread, go over it. Take stuff out. Put stuff in. Set it aside. Write another chapter or two. Then put all those aside and come back to again another day. Reread. Add, remove.
Did I mention that I'm completely insane?

Don't feel bad. Like I said. I'm just nuts. The way I write so fast is I try to write exactly what I feel, see, hear in my head. Then try to describe it that way. I go back later and reread to make sure it makes sense.
I also have a section in my ff account, where I keep a document just for Ideas.
My plots.
My characters (sometimes)
and then I have one with Cool Names I like.
Yeah, crazy, i know.
But it works. Also, when I write I have these windows open. My ff acount window. My free online dictionayr window. Dragon age Wiki. A good source to follow the scripts and scenes in youtube. And google, in case I need to find references or anything like that.
Me = Crazy:ph34r:

Lol I know! Soon enough the tables will turn and Twilight fans will get a face full of Templar!

Sounds like you've got it down to a fine art! I have real trouble writing stories, which is annoying because I get all these ideas in my head that would make great Dragon Age fanfic, and I can see the scene play out in my head as clear as day, but when it comes to putting it all down in words I can never make it read like I want it to. Which is really stupid considering I can write reviews and mock journal entries fine.

LOL these forums are turning me into the worlds biggest Fangirl! It's funny, I used to think it was really strange how people could get so attached to certain characters in films/books/games/TV/etc... And then I discovered Bioware games!

Here's a sneak peak at my new chapter that I'm still working on...remember it's a peak...after this, well is when my mage gets a little cruel with Cullen
Then, something occurs to her, it's been a while since she gave him a hard time. "But you should warn a lady when you're in hiding. Or lurking about..."
Shocked at her accusation, he tries to correct the situation. "Woah...I-I was in no way lurking or hiding..."
"What if I was coming here to wash up?" The naughty mage doesn't have to turn to know that his face is burning. "I could have been washing my clothing. All of it."
"I...uhm...I didn't mean to..." The Templar can feel his nervousness getting the best of him and he begins to back up, his hands up in surrender. "I-I wasn't trying to see you... b-bathe, my lady."
Feigning hurt, she scoffs. "So what, now you're saying I'm not worth looking at?"
How did I get myself into this predicament? Cullen's brain begins to race. "I...uhm, no..."
"No?" She continues her little charade, knowing she's getting the better of him.
"I-It's not that you're not wroth looking at...Maker...no that's not it..." He rubs his left temple. "I-I mean...uh, you're very pretty. It's just I...I was just making sure that..." He looks back over his shoulder towards the campsite. How he wishes he could escape this, but he can't leave her alone.
"Cullen. Relax, I'm just pestering you. Once more." Grinning, Keira pushes her hair up into a bun and begins washing her face and neck with the cool water.
"You're evil. You know that right? You should be more careful, someone might mistake you for an abomination with games like that." He snorts, kicking up some dust, his hands resting in his pant pockets.

VampOrchid: I got really into writing than fanfic you guys told me to do, after one particular idea I had on here sparked my imagination. I literally got half way through and my sodding computer corrupted it. I did try to rewrite it again for page 500, but it just didn't flow as well as the first time.
FWIW, I have heard discussions about c hapter length that suggest more than 10,000 at a pop can be a bit ... much for some readers. In another forum just with fanfic writers I participate in, the average seemed to be around 4000-5000, but of course, shorter or longer depending on the needs of the story. :shrug:VampOrchid wrote...
Crud, so far that chapter is up to 8k and I am no where near done with it...Woah is me...

Ooh, looking forward to the rest. Normally not a fan of fanfic, but I'll change that for page 500.

I strangely tend to write chapters that are 3700 words. Almost invariably, my first draft will be that long; it's weird. They frequently lengthen once I edit and such, so my ave is about 4000. I usually don't go over 6000 or so.
