@Samara, I was thinking about that, too. I think we should have a bit more discussion, though, before we call to question. LOL
Oh I definitely think we should discuss it a bit more to hammer out mechanics and stuff but all the discussion in the world may not yield a concensus as to how we should do it. And arbitrarily picking an option might ruffle some feathers. A poll, when we're ready to present the options, could be a way around that.

Totally agree! I think that's the only way. It's particularly important to enfranchise those who will actually participate, since for me it's kinda six of one and half dozen of the other.SamaraDraven wrote...

Exactly! It'll be an event of their making. Mostly. We could run polls to decide all the big decisions, like: Should it be a contest or mass-share event... How many winners there can be... If there should be prizes for winners... What kind of prizes (if any) are offered... etc.
That might be a little extreme, polling everything like that, but this way those who do take part can feel they helped shape the thing too.

Of course we all know I like the idea of a contest, but also I'm pretty competitive, and I know not everyone is. I also know I wouldn't take it personally if I didn't win or if you guys didn't like my designs, but I know some people aren't as good about that and would feel bad/unliked/whatever. I think that's a bit redic, but I can also see the benefits of just having a mass share. But I still think a contest would be really awesome.

Hah, yeah it does. Though I'm not sure my hastily put together and not beta checked short fanfic about first kisses is going to stand up to muster.
