Is it odd that a lot of the devs don't post in this particular thread? So far, I've only seen posts from Tonia, and it looks like that happened pretty recently. I guess them not being able to discuss anything about the next game kind of makes it hard to jump in.
Ha, that may be true. I'm pretty sure she didn't pop in to just tease us, hopefully

Maybe.
I mean, according to her twitter she'd been working on something Bioware related since May-ish. Maybe that was indeed Cullen's full companion/LI dialogue/story, or maybe it wasn't. Either way, it's nice to know that a dev/writer lurks in here, even if it's just because she finds this thread amusing in a creepy way or because she's a fellow Cullen fan.
... Of course, I like to believe that it's because she's proud of her new word baby and has been generally gathering ideas/data and checking out the reception Cullen has etc. But that's probably because I'm looking for clues where there aren't any lol.

LOL it was, wasn't it! I was like "SH!T she must think I'm a stalker!" ... To be fair I follow all the devs and DA voice actors just to look for any hints about DA3. At the time I was one of the only people with Twitter in here, so I took it upon myself to keep everyone updated whenever I found something that looked promising.

Ok so quickly, I really hope that if DA3 does a MP, that they don't take away from the main game. I don't want my MP to affect the main focus or have anything to do with it. Maybe if they do, they can make it like Red Dead Redemption and you can either run around killing everybody OR they had little side missions that didn't mess with your story line.
If there is MP in DA3, then I'd like to think that it wouldn't effect the main storyline. I'm not sure if it was just a glitch in ME3 that caused MP to effect SP, but after seeing the fallout that caused, I think the DA team would probably go out of their way to ensure that doesn't happen lol.

Same here. I think they will have learned from previous mistakes and improve from there. Though its another company they work with for MP they do have the final say in it.LolaLei wrote...

Lets hope not, the ending already had me pissed off, then after we finished the first playthru, discovered you had to do MP for the best ending, that really put the icing on the cake. After that playthru, and still mad we put the game up for a while. My hubby just now started to replay it the other day. Don't get me wrong, the game itself was awsome, but the end was

You know what. I still want a mabari in DA3. But the same way they had him in DA2. I don't like that in DA he took up a companion spot when I went somewhere, so I never took him. But in DA2 he was my big gun, when we got stuck, boom out came my dog from hell
I was actually just thinking about this. If our protagonist isn't going to be Fereldan, do you think we'll still be given a mabari? That always seemed to be the sterotype for Fereldans. Then again our characters might very well be Fereldan as well...really wonder if they are planning to move past that particular region of origin.

It was kinda screwy how in ME3 in order to be war ready you had to do MP to get the better score that was dumb! I felt sorry for the poor folks that didn't have internet capabilities and just wanted simply to play their game.
See i like playing online *MW2-3, Black Ops and soon to be Black Ops2* only b/c i play with friends online. If i didn't have people who i played with on a regular basis, i wouldn't even mess with it. But i didn't have anybody that played ME3, so nobody could play online and only a couple people online ever talked or they talked crap. I did enough to get the "best ending", quit, and haven't looked back since.

I like a few of the Orlesian accents actually, so I wouldn't mind. Leliana and Riordan come to mind when I think of my favorites, but that's a whole 'nother debat.

I don't think the game will have to include Ferelden in order for our character to originate from there. It would probably just be mentioned in passing similar to DA II.
