Actually, when I played through Awakenings, and didn't import my warden, I remember being distinctly disappointed when my "orlesian" warden commander only had the regular voice options, lol
Still definitely hoping for Cullen to try speaking it in DA3
Lol that would be hilarious! Greg Ellis does some of the funniest voices ever, so you can bet your arse that it would be entertaining!

I hope they have hairstyles like that
See, even if they can't give us longer hairstyles due to clipping issues, they could give us better up-styles. I mean, they didn't even give us Morrigan's hairstyle in DA2, which is quite pretty.
Agreed.
I only liked 3 of the new hair styles in DA2. the rest were..why did they think they would look good?lol
DA 3 needs more up-styles, that actually look good, nothing too fancy
And dang, new page

Could do it if theres a place like the Emporium. Or if they take a tip from Kingdoms of Amular in that game there was a mirror in your bedroom where tou could change your hair and make up.meanieweenie wrote...
I guess it'd be too much to ask to have your upstyle for regular in game stuff and then have your hair down for the nookie scenes. Isn't it a rule somewhere in romance land that the guy lets down the girl's hair (or guy if he's got a ponytail)?

Well I hope you get to pick where your protagonist is from, but you don't have to really worry about that and they just slap you with a reg accent. Ooooh I would love to have an accent like Seb
Lol Seb's Scottish accent was awesome! It was quite a light though, compared to some of the heavy regional Scottish accents that can be really hard to understand to the untrained ear.
Oh I'd really like to have the protagonist talk like Sebastian. Better yet, I'd love to have Sebastian return so he can take his Starkhaven back. But I wouldn't mind an orlesian protagonist as long as he doesnt sound like the male version of Isolde hehe.
Ohhh Sebastian...how my heart aches for you

Yeah, perhaps more attractive up-styles is the way to go, since clipping wouldn't be an issue then. I think even the simple up-styles like the pony tail would look better if they added a few more whisps of hair around the face to soften the characters features a bit.

That would be awesome to have in DA3! Like maybe a small hand held mirror if you're camping or a big full length one (like the one in the Black Emporium) if you're staying in a house/mansion.

I would imagine that they'd use the same/similar art style/graphics as DA2 simply because it would seem a bit pointless switching to a new engine or making a new one when the next gen consoles will be out within the next couple of years. Plus, if they stick with what they've already got then it saves them having to re-design everything all over again. I don't know how games design works but it would probably shave off a bit of time using the same general design as the previous game.

Time saver indeed! Their major task will be senery and landscapes especially if they are broadening the map. They said they aren't recycling sceneries this time.LolaLei wrote...

Exactly, so they'd only be making themselves more work by going a whole new route with a different art style.

See, overall I don't mind the art style of DA2 when it comes to the characters physical appearance.. granted some people came out looking prettier than others, but that could be easily sorted in DA3 with a few tweaks and a slight upgrade. I do think however, that when it comes to designing our own custom protagonists it would be nice if we had options to make him/her look as unique as the default appearance. I often found that when it came to making a custom female Hawke, she'd end up looking almost identical to the rest of the NPC's running around Kirkwall.
