yeah, pretty much. A lot of hairstyles seemed similar, too, only better, and more varied. WAY more varied. It was actually hard for me to choose between ones I liked... as opposed to DA, where it was hard for me to choose because I didn't like most of them...LolaLei wrote...

BTW, SWTOR will be free to play starting in November. Up to level 50, I believe. And, the hairstyles are awesome! I would love for DA3 to have so many options. It was pretty easy for me to make a smokin hot lady jedi that I was pleased with. Since it's also BW, I have hope for DA3!
SWTOR has similar sort of graphics/art style to DA2 doesn't it? Only futuristic instead lol.
I looked it up on google and there does seem to be a lot of new hairstyles. Hopefully DA3 will be inspired to create more.

Agreed. I was really pleasantly surprised at just how many variations of hairstyles they had made for SWTOR. My trooper is one foxy lady [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]
anyhoo... no idea what I actually said!
Oh yeah... So, my husband's (almost entirely female) characters have all turned out hot, too. Then, what's funny, his male characters always tend to be unattractive or odd with some long white beard or something. I'm totally baffled by how different his "role playing" is from mine. I just want my PC to be an idealized braver/hotter/cooler/badasser/perfecter avatar. LOL

Eh. And, FWIW, I would love to be an Orlesian! MOTA piqued my curiosity about their culture, so I think that would be a fun background to have. Anything that broadens our exposure to the lore. I keep meaning to go back and play Awakenings with an Orlesian Warden, but haven't had the time...

I have made a male PC a few times, for completeness and it was interesting that I did find myself role playing it a bit differently. But I still prefer being female...

apparently yes, altho I haven't gotten that far yet.
The romances are with your companions, per usual. Though you are able to flirt with certain NPCs along the way as well, quest givers and what not (there's a really cute relationship between my trooper and one of her contacts in the Republic's version of the CIA, adorable) I really like the romance I have experienced so far with Aric Jorgan. It's not as in depth as maybe the ones in Origins, but definitely worth the effort.

Cool! I haven't been able to watch them over hubbie's shoulder yet... Another of his annoying habits is that he constantly starts over, trying to iterate to the perfect character...

Seriously, I wouldn't bother. Since I downloaded the thing it's done nothing but **** me around. Wouldn't let me play the free trial so I bought the cheap standard addition, except I can't play it because I have to sign up to a monthly subscription OR pay through the nose for a ****ing timed game card.
