Exactly, but Hawke was always related to the Amell family regardless. Makes you wonder, doesn't it. Like it was technically default canon.

But like my import my Warden was married to Alistair. So that meeting goes different with him . I think they put different ones here and there for you to make a connection somewhere. 

Yeah, Cullen won't mention Amell if your Warden wasn't an Amell mage, obviously lol. But regardless, Hawke is still related to the Amell mage, who still existed even if you didn't play that origin. It just meant that she (like the other origin characters you didn't play) died.

Indeed, if you do an Amell import, for example, Leandra specifically says apparently that Revka's child was the Hero of Ferelden, plus Cullen mentions her. But, I believe Lola's  point was that even if you import something else, Revka's child is still a mage named Amell, and DG says they're related.

It would cause too many problems with some fans moaning that they can't romance her or others complaining that she's romancable when she should be with their Wardens etc. Mike Laidlaw mentioned on twitter that Alistair wouldn't ever be a party member again because of that reason, so I would presume the same goes for all past romancable companions from either games.

Nope don't remember. Ive read so much stuff and watched so many interviews it all gets mushed. It could have been somones BS too thats why I said it wasn't a quote. My point was that maybe Lola was correct. Maybe head canon for all is mage.

Feynriel and Sandal will be interesting if they are. I wonder if they'll play a big part in the plot considering their powers and such.
