I have to be honest. I hated the way all characters looked in DA2 accept for Cullen and Flemeth. Most looked way to animee/cartoony/fake. DA had a more realistic vibe to it. Don't know why. It just did.

But for some reason, I find that Flemeth and Cullen had the best makeover.

Hmm... I'll have to look at them closely next time I play again.  I don't remember noticing any anime/cartoon looking characters.  Except for the male characters, I think the female characters with their plastic looking hair, looked kind of like Barbie dolls. Thankfully my fiance is coming this May to visit me and I asked him to bring his Dragon Age II so I can finish my playthrough siding w/ the templars.  (Sad thing is, I'm broke X_X.  By the time I got Black Emporium and Sebastien, I was already in Act 3, I think).

And I HATED the chantry robes! They felt all...Darth Vadery slash here's some cookies join the dark side. It's suppose to be the Chantry. All golden robes and smiles and chanting. I get it's a dark game. But every time I did a Seb quest I felt like I was talking to Vader every time what's her face was talking. I was just waiting for her to say, oh yeah btw, I'm your farther lol

I really hope they give us the option to have a casual outfit for when he's not on duty. I doubt they'll do it but it feels weird seeing a companion wearing full armor throughout the course of an entire game... maybe with their suggested concept for customisable outfits will allow us to remove some of that thick metal and strip him down to something lighter.

I hope they make the outfits look nicer than some of the outfits were in DA2.  I didn't like my mage robes in DA2.  I did like the templar uniform though.  I can't decide if I like that uniform better than DAO's.  

I would love it if they had like some sort of off duty outfit. I imagine if cullen did become a companion they'd make him a more unique outfit something like meredith's I'm guessing. Though if they have a romance scene it would pretty awkward. I think I like the da2 templar armor more but I'm not completely sure. I know that the masive armor looked much better on females in da2 than in dao

I think DA3 should take some ideas from ME3 in terms of outfits, have your main armor then between quests they have casual outfits. Actually, I think they'd do well to take inspiration in other aspects of ME3 like the "shore leave" where your companions can go off and do their own thing and the friendly/romantic dates etc.

I read alot. And often. And I can read fast. So it's this thing, I enjoy lol. And it doesn't require that I work very hard. So yeah, I will read it lol.

But I is bummed right now Had to give up my apprenticeship...grrr...so I will be reading WAY more then what I usually do lol. And probably writing and drawing way more.

I am saving to get a new PC and photoshop. That means, yay, fan art will be on it's way as well. ;-) I will now have the time for it

oooo I'm looking forward to that. Even though I got this computer only a couple years ago, I could use a new pc as well. Lag in DA is not as bad as it is in WoW, but still, it gets annoying at times (plus maybe my game won't crash anymore when I use mana clash...oops almost wrote mana crash).

Yeah I saw this the other day, I wouldn't want a DA MMO. It was certainly an interesting PAX panel Q & A. I'm not sure I want my Warden coming back though, even if it is just a cameo the chance that it'll go ****** up is high, hell they couldn't even get the sodding romance flags right on the DA:O import.

Phew.  I'm glad I'm not the only one.  One mmo is enough for me and even that--I don't know if I will ever go back to it since my visits to my fiance and school keeps getting in the way.  Then, when I come back from my fiance's house, I go play a different game before and during the semester, and soon, I find myself back playing DAO. =P

My gamertag is the same as on here, only it's Dun Quixote. =)  I haven't been on for awhile since I have DAO for pc, but I'll be playing DA II probably in a month and Assassins Creed III when it comes out.

Wow, you guys are so prolific! Nice to see such excitement in the Cullen forums again.

re: stuttering, yes, I also like that we saw a bit of it when he mentioned the lovely ladies at the Rose. I imagine it could just be a nervous tic that comes up when he's really uncomfortable. I imagine those moments are fewer and far between now that he's mature Cullen of Awesome, but I could see them around women since he just seems like he'd be a bit... oblivious.

Wow! Nice screenshot! From what I read, in the old Cullen topic, some people said it looked really stupid, at least when all the other templars did the same. But, man, that is so knightly! Ha, even though he was ashamed of having the dream of being a knight when he was still "naive," it ends up in a way, coming true, at least metaphorically speaking.

It's my really old crappy art work. My stuff now is much much better, however, I haven't had time to dedicate myself to fanart or regular stuff. Now with my apprenticeship for tattooing being put to the side. I will dive back into it.

Ah, ladyshamen, bless you for sharing this again. LMAO, yup... it will DEFINITELY help. As you were, templar. I must say... I still sorta prefer that leaner physique of DA:O over the more beefcakey one of DA2. But, you know, brawny and muscley is brawny and muscley.

And, good point about the older man. Wouldn't bother me personally... but I can't help but thinking about the fact that if he's a companion in DA3, he'll end up being, like, level 1. Or like, 7 or something when you finally meet him, like when you meet Anders, but still... The man's skill is classified as a boss in DA2!
