Oooo good one!
Hm, I could see him being at a bit of a loss and not really knowing what to do with himself. Maybe he'd go looking for apostates lol!

Hehe, wouldn't that be cute? Someone telling him to take a vacation then he sits for a while in his room and stands back up "Okay, off to be a templar again.."

LOL yeah, I could totally see that happening. I honestly don't think he knows how to relax. So I guess his time would be spent training and honing his Templar skills.

I kinda see him dreading his vacation time, because it means two weeks away from work and nothing exciting to do with it. He could see the sights in Orlais or Antiva, but he'd have no one to share them with. I imagine him renting a room at a tavern just outside of town so he doesn't have to run into anyone from the order and spending his time reading, walking, maybe drinking.... and generally wishing the two weeks could go by faster.
Although maybe he has a past he'd like to visit. The village he lived in before it was destroyed or the graves of his parents. Maybe he's actually the third or fourth child of a nobleman who didn't need him around, so Cullen decided to become a Templar. Maybe he actually just visits his mom.

That's a point, he might have family to visit or something LOL! I love how we all like to think his life has always been tragic!
Whatever he does with his time off, I imagine he'd try to keep himself busy to keep his mind off things.

Ah, that would be a nice personal quest or something, then afterwards he'd explain the shadowy parts of his past.

If you could decide what Cullen's back story is regarding his family/childhood, what would be your ideal personal history for him be (excluding what we already know about his time at the Ferelden Circle and Kirkwall.)

... probably because he seems like a pretty sensitive guy with something to prove. That spells mama's boy/daddy issues to me. I wonder if he has an annoying, flirtatious older brother or something?

Not too sure, I kind of want him to be an orphan, possibly seperated from his siblings, adopted by relatives. Sounds a little typical, but that's how I kind of imagine it

His father a templar and forced to kill his mother because she turned into an abomination....and his father couldn't take care of him so he sent him to the chantry.. hmm..
Or he could have been some sort of farmer boy, always dreaming of becoming a templar (not knowing what it really involved) and saving people's lives. Bandits then could raid the village he comes from, burning it to the ground and killing his whole family (maybe he could have had a baby sibling, making him protective of the protagonist in DA3?) which forces him to set go to the chantry..
Ha, I dunno...
