lmao! I agree, the chantry robes were much better in dao in da2 they all looked like they had hunchbacks or something
I don't know, maybe we missed the email about leather being the new 'in' for borthers and sisters of the chantry. Nothing says believe, listen, and obey the master like leather. Although, that worked for Hitler....hmmm I'm starting to see a connection.

The Templar outfits are certainly... interesting looking. Though I do like the idea of Cullen practicing his Templar skills in the Gallows court yard topless, with just the red sash/skirt thingy on.
Now that my friend is a good idea. But don't forget the amulet. A man that can support a necklace and make it look good...now that's manly! Dress and all!

I'll probably post more later; these were drawn sometime in high school, but I have others that had been drawn when I was younger. Then I have tons of photos.

Dragon Age Origins
Dragon Age 2
I have to say I prefer DA2 armor. It makes more sense. But the carving on the breast plate and the shoulder thingies are better in the DA version. And I prefer the color choices for DA version better. DA2 is still all Vadery, but the style is nicer.

I agree I like the coloring better on the dao version but I like the model better in da2. What I don't get is why templars wear armor at all, they fight mages whose magic goes through armor. Plus it seems like it'd be easier to chase after a mage in lighter clothing, but I like guys in uniform, so it's okay

I prefer the skirt design in DA:O (apart from the furry bits at the side) but I prefer the armor in DA2.

I think I sorta like the DA2 version better, too. It's a bit more streamlined instead of tank-like. It also looks more straightforward to remove, since you can see more of the buckles and such. Erm, but then, I suppose I've spent a bit too much time examining DA2 screenshots to figure out how to do that. Ahem.VampOrchid wrote...

I wonder what the DA3 Templar armor will look like? More specifically how they will adapt it to give Cullen an iconic look if he's a companion? I hope they stream line things abit... I'd kinda like to see him in black with the red Templar insignia.
I'm thinking it will probably be a variation of the templar armor, something like meredith's. Or how they changed the seeker armor in the concept art
