I'm personally hoping that there is some sort of tragedy behind his past, mainly because he seems to have had a really unlucky life so far, so it would feel even more bitter sweet if he'd gone through life from one bad situation to another. That way, when/if we do get to romance him it would be like him finally catching a break. The protagonist being the first good thing in his life etc.

Ah, thanks for bringing this up. As someone who has spent over a year on this thread, it's something I've been anxious about as well. The Cullen discussion thread is also just one of many different DA topics that can be discussed in the various forums, so there are other avenues for off topics chatting as well, such as PMs and the other threads. But, so long as we stick to discussion of Culleny topics here, I think we'll be fine.

Thats a difficult question...
To say he'd pick a more expensive one makes him sound really desprate..but then thats why the rose is there, no?
