Afraid I can only answer this one with the story I wrote along those lines... ahem... A Love of His Own. That's honestly the only kind of woman I can imagine him actually saying yes to at a brothel.

Ah, missed this one!  You know... Originally I would say that he wouldn't take vacation, since that might feel like an abdication of duty for him. But if he gets this vacation every year... hmm, he might get over that notion pretty early on.

How's this... he uses it doing something selfless. Like, going home to work on the farm for his aging mother or volunteering in the orphanage in Denerim where he grew up, or protecting the local Chantry near where he grew up. Something that to someone else would seem like no fun.

I dont know if somone said this already Ive been away. A vacation of a lifetime for him would be to go to see Andrastes Ashes. It would be for him like Disney World is for us.
