Ah yes, all in good fun I assure you. I highly doubt Bioware will start making any of their characters dress in that way. Though it does bring to mind the gender armor inequalities lots of other games have. If guys get to watch their video game girls run around in metal bikinis, why can't I have my shirtless hunk o' Cullen?
You can strip Alistair down to his underpant, so I doubt modesty is Bioware's concern.
That is one of the reasons why I don't like the Witcher. The women barely wear anything, so it's not only unrealistic. It always has a sense of fan-servicing that I just can't get into. Almost all of the characters in Dragon Age, regardless of gender wear thick armor and proper dress that doesn't scream fan-service. Except for Isabela, of course, but she's excuse since it's her character that does it, not just nudity for nudity's sake.
Maybe they should allow us the option like Dragon Age Origins where we can take off all their clothing.
