I think the next major boss in DA3 should be a mix between Lady Gaga and Gene Simmons...

I'm sure Cullen would be all over Smiting the crap outta that lol

Well, Nathaniel is another angsty fellow with a chip on his shoulder about his family. There's plenty of story fodder. Just think of Cullen and replace his name with Nathaniel if you feel the need for romance. lol

Me too. Gene Simmons has always given me the creeps.... like Michael Douglas and Sylvester Stalone. (Gees, I realize I was grimacing as I typed out those names! lol) Gaga is just trying to be edgy way too hard... like our 50+ yr old Madonna is becoming.

LOL! I mean, I do like his character design, and his gentlemanly demeanor--and not the snobbish type. He's not bad looking and he doesn't throw up on shoes <.<. Why couldn't it have been Nathaniel that had a crush on Cousland and not Thomas?

Not tossing up on your shoes is a good thing for sure... plus his dad is Tim Curry. lol I forgot that Cousland and Nathaniel didn't really like each other, did they? Meh. His loss.

This is slightly off topic and I already made a thread about it earlier, but I wanted to know what you guys thought of this.

I played DA2 today and whilst in Hawke's estate Sandal said something really strange that I'd never heard him say before:

Sandal: One day the magic will come back. All of it. Everyone will be just like they were. The shadows will part, and the skies will open wide.
Bodahn: Huh. What's this?
Sandal: When he rises, everyone will see.
Bodahn: By the ancestors, what's gotten into you, my boy?
Sandal: Enchantment?
Bodahn: Hmph. That's more like it.

It made me wonder if DA3 will involve this as it's main story? What with the Mage/Templar conflict maybe the Mage's end up unleashing/summoning something dangerous? It would be a good way to introduce Cullen into the game too if he managed to get caught up in all this whilst visiting the Divine to provide answers surrounding his involvement in Meredith's death.

Oh I talked about this in another thread! The moment I heard this I thought of Old God Baby. I have a feeling DA3's going to be something big, what that big is yet, well I don't know...

Did you see the theory on there that Corypheus, the Ancient Tevinter Magister we killed in the DA2 Legacy dlc actually posessed the body of Larius instead? There seems to be strong evidence to suggest that this is the case:

Watch Larius in the background behind Hawke at around 0:13

Perhaps Corypheus is who Sandal is talking about? I mean, if he gets loose and starts corrupting Wardens and Mages to summon other Ancient Spirits then ****s really gonna hit the fan! It could be a good set up to DA3's storyline.

Orchid: That makes sense. Before you responded, I found a few errors myself. Thanks! I've always had some problems being consistent with past/present tense. Some parts of the rules I get confused, depending on how I am writing a particular sentence.

I really appreciated the feedback and revision. :]

Sh**, I never noticed even that before! I can;t beleieve he posessed Larius! You could be right, it's definitely got to have something to do with DA3 otherwise they wouldn't put it in there. Hmm do you think the darkspawn Old god thing are going to come back into play in DA3 as well? If you think about it they actually have alot to do with mages

Old god thing is like foreshadowing, there's got to be a reason they put it there to begin with

They said at PAX that Morrigans story will come into play, I dunno if that means we will get to do something with the Old god kid or if it'll just set up the story for DA4, they've got so many good potential story arcs to explore that I have no idea where they'll go with DA3. The fact that they are suggesting Orlais makes me think they'll run with the Mage/Templar conflict mixed with whatever it was that the Warden's were investigating in DA2 that seemed to be of great importance.

You know, I used to think that, too. But then... I thought the entire ending of DA2 was basically foreshadowing for a continuation of why Hawke was a Legend... pfft. I don't want to DA2-bash, because I do love the game, but the ending just CRIED OUT for more storyline.

That said, I've love the Old God thing to rear its head, given such great fodder: Corypheus, the entirety of the Calling. But, likely little to no Old God Baby, since that was such a pivotal player choice.
