Samara: I only realised the ending was different with the way of the close fist recently lol! So harsh! And Mast LI?! Totally didn't see that one coming!
Well the PC can make different choices but the end stills goes much the same, except you lose all your friends with that one choice. That was harsh. I did the ultimate Closed Fist ending once. I couldn't bring myself to make the same decision in the end after that, no matter how Closed Fist I played. lol! The first time I played and Master Li came back and rewarded you for saving him, I was flabbergasted! Then I realized the Water Dragon had been trying to tell me all along... "Ask not where your path leads but why it is there in te first place..." or something like that. But yeah... Master Li was quite the surprise.
Yeah, my first playthrough discovering that little bombshell was awesome! Everytime I've played it since, I've noticed loads of hints about Master Li that I'm surprised I never noticed the first time round. I hope we have a companion who does the same thing in DA3!
That would be cool! I just don't want Cullen to have a Master Li kind of surprise.
In other news...I've had this survey from Bioware sitting in my email inbox for a few days so I went and did it and they asked a few questions about which of their titles have I owned/currently-own/played/heard-of. What platforms I own and play on and how often I play on them...

"haha well stabbing something in the ass is bound to make it grump
So I replied: "Totally worth it though! Of course, I wouldn't stab a Dragon Age Griffin, there should be laws against that sort of thing!"
I reckon that sufficient enough griffin hinting LOL!

LOL, Cameron Lee replied to my tweet about Griffins. He said:
"Aww, the Griffins are so cute too!"
So I said: "Not so cute when you climb up their legs and stab them in the arse... Or maybe I was doing it wrong. :-S"

I wouldn't want it to be Cullen either, unless you can get him to have a change of heart, kinda like Zev on DA:O.

I did it. And there were no images. Just radial buttons. It came direct from BioWare though. First thing they ask is for you to confirm your email address, which is the one I use for here and for my PSN account.

Maybe they're thinking about letting you beta test? I wonder if I got one? I'll check.

I'm not ready to go that far.... But the survey says "We want your opinion" but they don't ask what you THINK. They ask what you HAVE, which is altogether different, in my book and not worth an NDA imho. Wonder what's up? I got mine on Monday, btw. If that helps you to find yours.

Maybe they'll start sending regular ones? But they wanna check what you play on etc first, like. Confirmation thing.
Maybe... Maybe they just wanna know what they're core fans play on the most so they can plan releases accordingly? Or plan to have their games coded for the most used platforms and eliminate the ones less used? THAT'D p!ss a lot of people off though.
Edit: Oh dear! I hate it when I need an old email address like that!

Totally wouldn't surprise me, although that sort of thing would most likely come directly from EA. Man, could you imagine the sh!t storm that would kick up!

True, EA would be the ones to say they wanna save money by focusing their code on the "core fanbase" or some such. They're the ones who care enough abot the wallet to do that.
Did you find the survey yet?

Nothing intelligent to add other than Cullen getting a thorough inspection from the Champion outside the Chantry.

Oh, that sucks.

Still not working... Can I not use this site to store pics? Do they have to come from a place like photobucket?

I've never noticed before but Aveline isn't particularly religious at all, in comparison to Wesley. So I guess Templars can marry people that aren't heavily into religious beliefs... Either that or she faked it in order to marry him.
Either way, that's a good sign.
I've noticed that but never really put much insight like you did, it doesn't seem like she would fake it. maybe being religious isn't a requirement like you suggest, but it's probably encouraged.
So, hopefully our protaganist doesnt have to be so religous around Cullen, assuming he is indeed a LI

I suspect society in Ferelden and Orlais assumes that all humans are Andrastian by default. Thus, it wouldn't matter how religious a person is so long as they don't stand outside a Chantry with a "Andraste is bulls****" sign.

I'm guessing the reason Templars need approval to marry is so the Chantry can insure none of their knights take a wife from a suspect or unfavorable background. They don't want any ugliness shed on them by having knights whose wives are from a family of known mage sympathizers or criminals. The faithful part probably matters more in regard to the knight. His - or her - spouse just has to be a good boy or girl.
