Ah, need to finish watching the PAX panel vids. I've heard DG talk in the past, tho, about how the Old God Baby can't really be a major storyline since not everyone did the ritual. But, that doesn't mean it can't be a side quest for those who did. ...OR that they can friggin change their minds about that.

You know, I used to think that, too. But then... I thought the entire ending of DA2 was basically foreshadowing for a continuation of why Hawke was a Legend... pfft. I don't want to DA2-bash, because I do love the game, but the ending just CRIED OUT for more storyline.

That said, I've love the Old God thing to rear its head, given such great fodder: Corypheus, the entirety of the Calling. But, likely little to no Old God Baby, since that was such a pivotal player choice.

Yeah that's a point, the god baby thing was optional. I guess it'll be something to do with Morrigan and Flemeth then, with mention of the baby if you performed the dark ritual. Then again, PAX was all just concepts so we probably won't get anything more from Morrigan than a cameo.

Oh yeah they also talked about going into whatever the wardens were talking about in DA3. There's also hints of a war between Orlais/Ferelden and Civil war in Orlais that plus the mage/templar thing, whatever the wardens were doing, Corypheus and pssibly the Architect,  Flemeth's whole plan and family, the whole Maric thing going on the comics, the old god baby! I have a feeling da3s going to be huge

I'm hoping they won't use the Orlais/Ferelden civil war plot, I reckon it could be kinda dull, unless they use it as a minor plot for us to reunited and gather forces to help fight whatever it is we'll be up against in DA3. But then that would be too similar to DA:O and ME3 lol.

Templars should have to get the Insignia either branded or tattooed on them like the neck or inner right forearm....to show devotion of sorts

I was thinking the same thing! A blood red tattoo of the Templar insignia would look so ****ing hot on Cullen, plus it would make for more drama because whatever he does he'll always have a reminder of his Templar duties because it's branded into his skin, so even out of uniform he can never escape what he is.

Branding, painful, but a right of passage. Hmmm but is more a slave thing.

Tattoo, really visible, a constant reminder, can also be a right of passage.

I think I'll go with tattoo. And more then likely either black or blue, colors they would have had in times like those.

The idea of always being reminded he's a templar id just so.. hot 
at least being a mage! All forbidden and what not <3

LOL poor Cullen, he's just about to have sexy time with his Mage lover for the first time and he looks down and sees his Templar tattoo and thinks "****!"

Good point. I reckon it would probably be a branded insignia just because it's harsh and the whole Templar order seems to be about suffering for the greater good lol. The pain of having it done could be symbolistic of the pain Andraste suffered when she was betrayed/murdered, or something like that.
