Personally I hadn't even heard of Dragon Age until right before they'd released Witch Hunt and they'd already announced er Isabela, Varric and Aveline (I think). But they've shown every companion in the other two games. I heard about Dragon Age on youtube when I saw the Morrigan character vid.

Ok after the major announcement of DA2 there after they started giving a short story about each of the Characters Varric and Izzy were pretty much first because thet were in the trailers. After that say maybe a month or 6 weeks brfore the actual reale they announced the LIs in the game. So we are a ways off for that news if they follow that again.LolaLei wrote...

I only discovered and finished DA:O about a week or 2 before DA2's release, so I have no idea what the protocols to this whole official announcement process is.

OK... so back to serious Cullen discussion!! Ahem... So... back to my Sergio Leone-inspired vision of Cullen riding around the Orlesian countryside protecting the innocent and using his templar powers for good. He never asks for payment... but the people now know that they can provide him with lyrium as a thank you.
PC comes across him protecting mages from a group of new Templars intending to "purge" any mages they find (as per Lola's idea). Afterwards they chat, and PC shares that she's going to the Emerald City to ask the Wizard for a way home... I mean, going on her big grand quest to DO SOMETHING EPIC, but he's not interested in big epic world saving. He's just fine saving the world one person at a time. She has to convince him to help because of REASONS, and finally he comes along, secretly hoping that the Wizard will give him a heart.
