So, Mark Darrah said in his post that "We have been working on it in some way for about two years now with the bulk of our efforts ramping up about 18 months ago." And DA2 was out in shops in March last year, so that means they must have started putting ideas etc in place during the development process of DA2?

Wow, that was pretty stinky. And, honestly a bit arbitrary. Just more fuel for my conspiracy theory that he is a companion, I guess.  Alright.. whatever... I guess we'll just stay here and speculate. Pfft.

Makes sense. They included a reference to the inquisition in the epilogue of the strategy guide, the copy for which must have been written pretty early on.

Haha, unfortunately, no. Mark pretty much summed up everything in his blog that can be talked about. But really, I can't wait for when more is announced, it's all pretty exciting stuff.

Lol haha. I don't mind seeing that either 

But it's so hard for me to play as a male character. If I could play as Cullen then I totally would hehe. 

I hope he's BI if he's a LI, this way everyone's happy!

I just found out about the announcement and oh my god. If the inquisition part was like the leak, then there is a really good chance that Cullen is a companion. Yay so excited!

Well Parmida, there are already people in the new threads beotching about "all LI being bi" so hopefully Cullen will NOT get the axe, and us fans who prefer to play as male PCs will still get to romance him. I've been commenting as much as I can, trying to get our viewpoint across, not to convince the haters but to hopefully make sure the devs see that a lot of players support bi LIs ... and of course I support it for girls, too; it is a darn video game, we should be able to romance whomever we want, but more importantly, we should be able to ROLE-PLAY as whomever we want, whether that's a video game version of yourself or someone else completely!

I will really be depressed if I can't romance Cullen (assuming 90% at this point that he is a companion b/c of the leaks). I find playing straight romances really hard; I'm actually having more fun playing my FemHawke x Isablea romance than my FemDwarf x Alistair romance right now, haha!

So, I guess I'm late to the party...but I just read the letter from Mark Darrah.
It's safe to say I'm freaking out, and now more then ever I believe Cullen will be a companion and possible LI. Thank you, Mark Darrah for making my day.

We know the Mage Circles have rebelled.

And I think that's really it! All that's been "confirmed" that is.
