As I mentioned before, I was not happy when Alistair dumped me first play through. I also got a bit misty when the goodbyes came in DA:O. Well, more bittersweet because I knew this was it.

Oh I just thought of a question I wan't to ask you guys. What were some of the most heart-wrenching moments for you in the DA series?

Mine would probably be, the goodbyes in Origins, I felt so close to my companions in this game and just seeing the goodbyes was so heartwarming for me, for some reason DA2s didn't quite match up, not that they were bad I just didn't feel the same; another is when the chantry blew up for the first time, my character was in a romance with Anders too so I think the only thing to describe that moment was 'wow', I know people say that Anders was so obvious and everything but I actually never saw that coming!

The goodbyes were really sad in DA:O, I also felt really sorry for Cullen when the Warden leaves with to join the Wardens cos you watch him in the background looking heart broken as she walks out the door. Something else that nearly had me in tears was a mod for DA:O where your Warden kills the archdemon and as she lays dying in Alistair's arms he recites the Warden initation speech that he says in the beginning when you drink the Darkspawn blood. Does Alistair still tell your Warden he loves her during the goodbyes if he's dumped her when he becomes King?

lol yes he did! I think my reaction was more heartbroken than angry. Actually torwards the end of the game the entire Anders romance was heartbreaking. Another one was that seen where you see the top of fort drakon from teagans view when it explodes in the sky or something, that's deffinitely one of my favorites

Oh! Also! The one were you see King Calian's body hung out for the world to see in the Return to Ostagar dlc. Alistair's face when he see's his brother strung up like that was heart breaking!

I don't remember really. I think he mentions something like he made a huge mistake.

Lol my reaction to Ander's blowing up the Chantry was "****! Did you do that?! Wow... Sooo, Justice is still stuck inside your body? Pity, I was looking forward to funny Northen Anders coming back!"

What I found was funny, was when I had my warden (never my mage) be in love with both alistair and zevran at the same time. She'd have to option to say I love you to both of them, before heading to the denerim market. lol

Oh I never actually saw this in game but on youtube where you stab Morrigan in witch hunt her expression is so heartbreaking 

One time, I was pissed at Anders in DA2, since I think I had already played the game at least once by that time and I also wanted to try something different, and so I had hawke stab him (she was in a romance with him).  I ended up crying and reloaded my game. lol

lol! I read something online before I got to the ending that said something like R.I.P. Anders so I figured oh no the potions going to kill him... You can imagine my expression when I found out what they really meant was he was going to blow up the ******* chantry!

That's funny because I rememebr running across a very early forum post where some dude just wrote "GOD******IT ANDERS!". I remember thinking "Oh no... what did he do?". I soon found out.

You'd think you'd get a more heart breaking scene if you romanced him. Like for example, you share one last kiss and say your goodbyes... before you slit his throat or stab him in the stomach. Y'know, something a bit special like that.

I know I can't believe Hawke just stabs him in the back literally! I imagine it's because she/he can't stand to look at him while she/he does it. At least that's how I would feel.. Then again I wouldn't be able to kill him anyways. Whenever I see Anders I just think of that lovable sarcastic mage from Awakening and how much he's gone through and changed. I know alot of people hate him but I just feel so bad for him, and he was my LI so I guess that explains why I like him lol
That scene did lack a bit of luster though, you just stabbed someone you were in love with and 5 minutes later you're all laughs and smiles with your companions

Kinda like when Hawke's mum died and he was all like "Oh. She's dead... Well guys, lets go! Those fetch quests won't fix themselves!"

Man, I hope DA3 takes a leaf out of ME3's book, the deaths in that game were brutally upsetting I cried my sodding eyes out so many times whilst play it!

I've never played Mass Effect but I know it has alot of deaths with your companions, I'm wondering if they'll go that route with DA3? They did after all talk about having more consequences for your actions

It's a high possibility, though I don't know if it would have quite the same effect because in Mass Effect you've had your companions over the course of 3 games... unless they started killing off our old companions from previous games during cameo appearances... my god that would be horrible! I think I would actually curl up and die if they killed off Alistair!

Either way, if they plan to go the whole "killing off your companions" route then they'll have to improve the interaction we get with them during the game to make us become really attached to them before they kill them off lol.

Ok, three pages in three hours must be some kind of record! The video with music from The Cruxshadows is sad. I've seen it before since I'm a major fan of both the band and of Typowolf's videos. And just because, a screenie of Cullen after 'tent time' with my Warden. I think he looks worried.
