I read somewhere that one of the reasons why they're using the Frostbite 2 engine is because it allows for more character customisation, so I think maybe this time the hair will look more realistic and perhaps move/flow with the character... perhaps we'll even get longer hairstyles that won't clip too?

I bet they were. I would imagine Cullen actually trying to protect the mages even if at the beginning he feared/hated them. He came to realize it was half the templar's fault things got out of hand.LolaLei wrote...
I've been watching the pro-Templar ending, prior to the battle when Cullen supports the mages. Which goes as follows:
Meredith: "This Circle is beyond redemption."
Cullen: "Knight Commander, surely the right of annulment requires something more..."
Meredith: "It requires my word Cullen, do as I've commanded!"
Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but the way they deliver their lines as they are walking towards Hawke makes it seems like they'd been arguing about it on their way there.

That's just my opinion though...

Kirkwall reminds me of Houston after Hurricane Katrina hit. A lot of those refugees headed here to relocate and along with them a sizeable group of gangs and thugs and people taking advantage of those in dire straights.
In reference to that exchange between Cullen and Meredith, I wonder how long it took Cullen to step up and disagee with her or had he been voicing his reluctance throughout?

A request, if someone could find (or take a screenshot of) this shot in a larger format? I'd REALLY appreciate it. I need it for...stuff. Science-y stuff

I swear, I had big bright hearts pulsing in my eyes at this moment in the game.<3
I bet he is a very possessive sort that wants to keep his lover for himself and look after him/her.

Hopefully not too possessive though!

I actually love to see him try to defend the protagonist against dangers and bad guys like in this picture!

I know right!! I mean I loved him in Origins (particularly when playing as a female mage) but the moment that really turned me into a fangirl was the end of 2 when he jumped to Hawke's defence in front of Meredith. It was so unexpected I actually made a noise of delight!![]()
