I stabbed Anders once, It was very... half arsed.

You'd think you'd get a more heart breaking scene if you romanced him. Like for example, you share one last kiss and say your goodbyes... before you slit his throat or stab him in the stomach. Y'know, something a bit special like that.

I know I can't believe Hawke just stabs him in the back literally! I imagine it's because she/he can't stand to look at him while she/he does it. At least that's how I would feel.. Then again I wouldn't be able to kill him anyways. Whenever I see Anders I just think of that lovable sarcastic mage from Awakening and how much he's gone through and changed. I know alot of people hate him but I just feel so bad for him, and he was my LI so I guess that explains why I like him lol
That scene did lack a bit of luster though, you just stabbed someone you were in love with and 5 minutes later you're all laughs and smiles with your companions

Kinda like when Hawke's mum died and he was all like "Oh. She's dead... Well guys, lets go! Those fetch quests won't fix themselves!"

Man, I hope DA3 takes a leaf out of ME3's book, the deaths in that game were brutally upsetting I cried my sodding eyes out so many times whilst play it!

I feel a little bad, but I wasn't really moved by the death of her mom.  It might partially have to do with the fact I felt emotionally unconnected with Hawke, the fact I thought the mom had an annoying voice, and the whole "oh, we had so much before" and "now we have nothing," not that I wouldn't be like that, but sheesh, a little too noble-ish for me.

Dunquixote: Yeah I know what you mean, that's why I never play as a noble if I can help it. I prefer to either play as poor/common character, one that's had a bit of a crappy life or something a bit fantastic like an Elf or Dwarf.

I haven't played DAO completely through as a dwarf commoner (but I did play the beginning origin, which was just meh for me--not the best but I can't say I disliked it either); Teryna Cousland--she looked ugly and I don't know whether it was her voice that bothered me. Dwarf noble--doesn't annoy me one bit though.

I've never played Mass Effect but I know it has alot of deaths with your companions, I'm wondering if they'll go that route with DA3? They did after all talk about having more consequences for your actions

It's a high possibility, though I don't know if it would have quite the same effect because in Mass Effect you've had your companions over the course of 3 games... unless they started killing off our old companions from previous games during cameo appearances... my god that would be horrible! I think I would actually curl up and die if they killed off Alistair!

Either way, if they plan to go the whole "killing off your companions" route then they'll have to improve the interaction we get with them during the game to make us become really attached to them before they kill them off lol.

I know they killed ...... off in Asunder. I think I started crying when it happened too! Awh it was so sad :(
I'm one who thinks that sometimes death in a story really adds to it. Like everyone says it's not a good story unless the hero dies "unless the hero has a trusty sidekick with him in which case the sidekick dies, instead"
If they killed off one of the original companions ah it would be so heartbreaking..

Ok, three pages in three hours must be some kind of record! The video with music from The Cruxshadows is sad. I've seen it before since I'm a major fan of both the band and of Typowolf's videos. And just because, a screenie of Cullen after 'tent time' with my Warden. I think he looks worried.

 did I miss something?  Is Asunder one of the novels?  I think I might ask for the novels for my birthday...  I keep changing my mind if I want them or not.

Agree with this completely, I wish there was another non-noble human origin for my malewarrior but mage is my favorite anyway

I don't like it when they kill them off in books because I don't bother with them so I'm like wtf? lol. I think it's better to kill them off in game, where I can watch it happen and cry LOL.

Oh you have to read it! It's only like 10$ or so on itunes. It's a really good book one of my favorite out of the three. it involves what happens after the end in DA2 with the mage/templar thing. It's definitely worth the read, but one of your old companions die..  :(

I really don't think Templar's have to be chaste. I mean, Wesley was married to Avaline. Not to mention that chaste romances suck! I really hope they bring back better love scenes for DA3. Not that I'm asking for nudity, but come on. One kiss, fade to black, and.... that's it?!
Lola, love that look! Cullen needs a nice back rub.

How sad am I that I knew that was Hawke during the Anders romance scene, modded as Cullen before I noticed Anders' hand and hair based solely on the expression? :bandit: Then my brain went "Cullen/Anders?! Do not want!"

I bet a round sugar cookie with this motive would be fairly easy:  http://www.entertain...p?number=EW1053

I may try it out tomorrow. It may also be hilarious to make some fortune cookies with little Cullen themed messages inside, like : "Ansraste wants you to make Cullen a LI in DA3"

How about this one? Can you tell what this has been modded from? (Sorry about the quality, the video had some weird effect put on top of it.)

Hmm... I just was about to post two more chapters, but one of my chapters would have been only 800+ words in comparison to the intro which is 1,300+ words. I am not sure how it looks, but I combined the would-be chapters into one. I'm really worried that the dialogue and description is getting repetitive. I'm trying to depict what I envision in my head as best as I can... I know my intro I did the best with because I wrote my ideas in a notebook first before typing it out.

That's what I was thinking, I'd love it if they put the amount of work into the DA series as they do the mass effect romance scenes. I looked them up on youtube and I was just thinking comeon how come we don't have romances like that!
