Call me self-centered, but I get the feeling that some of this is pointed at me. In my defense, I do try to be polite, even when I'm under a barrage of rude, highly insulting attacks. FWIW, I've said what I needed to say and can go back to trying to force myself to feel some excitement about something that has been bled of every drop of pleasure.

Maybe things will pick up once we get some information. In the meantime, Maclimes has suggested a saved game generator application/mini-game thingy that looks awesome for creating your perfect DA:O and DA2 imports. Anybody feel like swinging by and giving it a bump? This idea would work even for console users, and it's a wonderful alternative to downloading somebody else's (possibly dubious) save.

Nah, we were talking about the douche bags making stupid threads like "Third time lucky Bioware" and then proceed to go on about how Bioware have sold out etc.

I go days where this is the only thread I check. It seems like one of the friendliest places on BSN, to be honest. :)

Aw lol.  Although, we do have our fair share of debates but we tend to discussion them rationally and it usually turns out to be an interesting and eye opening debate, that brings forth new concepts/questions/etc.

That one's an Aveline swap, after she kisses Hawke for helping her get together with Donnic.

Nope! we meant the guys in the DA3's new forums, some of them are being very rude and make harsh posts in there.
It's like ME3's sh!tstorm all over again in there.
And sorry if I offended you with my post.

Oh no, I wasn't saying any of this with a specific user in mind, more of a overall thing with people that are already jumping to conclusions based on very little evidence. Like assuming DA 3 will be marketed towards FPS fans because they are using the same engine used for Battlefield 3 for a base. Then ranting about how they are never going to buy a Bioware game again, yet still hanging around on the forums to complain about every little thing the developers have done wrong in their eyes. There's nothing wrong with criticism, so long as it's done in a progressive and mature manner.

They are just bored little boys and girls. I guess they don't work or have school because they seem to spend 24 hours a day in that forum doing nothing but insulting devs and fellow gamers (usually of the LGBT and/or female persuasion).

Oh! That's a relief! I'm not shy about speaking out, but I do try to keep it constructive.

You know, I automatically skip those threads. You can spot the vitriol a mile away, and you know before you open them that there will be nothing helpful or enlightening inside. I do pity the moderators who have to open them up, determine that they're rubbish, and lock them.

I love the smiling Cullen in the library picture. Face swap? With whom?

That explains it. I skipped those threads. I literally could not care less what engine they use as long as it 1) works well with the game, and 2) does not require me to go out and buy a $2K computer. I wouldn't even mind the second if I could convince fiance to pay for it!

When I think of frostbite, I tend to think of my truck breaking down and having to walk through a mile of half-frozen slush to get to the nearest garage, but I understand that it does scenery well. I have no idea how well it renders humans, and that is important, but the folks at BioWare aren't stupid. They wouldn't have picked it if it couldn't handle the subject matter.

So, should we do something for Page 750? Like, the write Cullen's origin story idea? Or something else??

Can't tell how far off we are from it, since we seem to ebb and flow of late...

This is the thread where Maclimes is talking about a saved-game creator. Besides having an intelligent, creative, and charming forum presence, the guy also has a sexy avatar. How can you say no to that?

Oh dear. That does sound rather stalkerish, doesn't it? Ahem.

Lola, I never would have guessed that was an Aveline swap. Now I'm going to have nightmares about an Aveline/Cullen pairing. We talked about that before, didn't we? I think we agreed that he needs somebody to help him lighten up, not somebody to remind him of his responsibilities.
