Edit: I agree. Isabela rocks! I romanced her more than once just because I enjoyed her company the most... aside from Varric.

You know... I think I enjoyed Isabela the most when I was girlcrushing on her during my Fenris romance. I didn't particularly enjoy her romance with m!Hawke, but I loved her friendship with my f!Hawke.  But then... that may be just another example of my inability to "love the one I'm with" with my DA2 LIs. LOL

I had more fun with the girl/girl friendship role overall but liked the f!Hawke romance over the m!Hawke. I know it's the same but I think for me it just felt more organic with the girls. I can't explain why if you paid me. lol

Maybe it's just harder to step into a different gender role when you have a voice attached to it. I could never romance the male characters even as a woman but M!Hawke was awesome with the Isabela romance, it felt kind of odd though. He seemed like a wounded puppy...

Didn't feel particularly manly but it's what I would have done.

I just noticed I keep picking the companions who have issues with love. Morrigan thinks it's a weakness (turned her around), Isabela doesn't like Feelings (did when I was through with her) and likely Bioware's gonna drop the emotionally stunted female who seduces me just fer the sex again.

I feel so...used.

Who knows maybe the CGI Inquisitor (if we get one) will be female and they'll make Cullen super important to the plot and I'll be there with you!

Obviously I plan to try out each of them. But Cullen will be my number 1 choice, even if they make him look like the back end of a bus. That guy is gonna find love, whether he likes it or not dammit!
