LMAO! Tweet from Gaider:

*Name removed*: "Glad I'm part of a very civil thread on the BSN no arguing just excited discussions. Feel free to stop by :D Cullen Thread"

David Gaider: "The Cullen thread is both baffling and vaguely concerning, like finding underwear on the sidewalk."

... I'd say that's an accurate way to describe this place!

OMG who tweeted that? Come on... Raise your hand!

I bet it was Danny. Did I guess right?

...How did you know...

I could tell by the way the tweet was worded. Then your Cass tweet confirmed it since you mentioned tweeting DG about her age a couple of days ago lol.

Pfft. I'm vaguely offended. It can't be any more baffling or concerning than fifteen threads about why multiplayer sucks and why religion sucks and why Bioware sucks and why DA2 sucks and how the company is "dead to them". At least we can have intelligent (usually), mature (eh) conversation without resorting to stomping our feet and sticking our tongues out at each other which is what the rest of the forum amounts to.

Must agree... Also vaguely offended. That's not really a remotely positive thing to say about us. I am disappoint.

We're baffling? Doesn't that mean confusing and such? What...??

This is the only thread I've been in where no one's been a jerk, not even a little bitty bit. I'm sure some jerks have stopped by when I wasn't looking, but all of the regulars are good people.

I was just thinking a moment ago that lately when I come to check the BSN I feel like I'm actually coming to catch up with friends, not just check for new facts or engage in deep discussion about the games. .............Which is embarrassing to admit :>

Take just about everything DG says as a joke. Honestly he is by way the douchiest (in a good way) dev that I know. Once when I was trying to figure out how to spell Zevran's last name he was like

Z-E-V-R-A-N-'-S-L-A-S-T-N-A-M-E

so I always take what he says as a little winky.

Oh come on, nothing weird about photoshopping Cullen's head on nearly naked male models with water cascading over their hard tanned bodies.
Nope nothing at all

Or discussing indepth about what he smells like.

... Then of course, there was the other day when we decided which DA characters we were, then continued to talk with their mannerisms for several pages.

Man, I love this thread!

In all fairness, Cullen is a very minor character and the writers put a lot of effort into making the companion LIs interesting. Is there any other NPC in the series who has this big of following? Add in that our very civil discussions include a lot of "what ifs" about how a Cullen romance might work and, yeah, I can see the writers being a bit baffled by so much interest in a character that they themselves didn't put as much effort into.

(so, I'm not offended)

Plus, we do have some bizarre conversation in here when we go off topic. Especially recently lol. I don't know any other threads that hold page events when we hit a certain target.
