Sooo... Ahem, here's a question Cullen fans. Just finished my obligatory read of 50 shades of grey, which of course was originally Twilight fanfic. It reimagines Edward not as a vampire but having other, very dark... erm, tastes that our "hero" hides from the average person.
Could Cullen have some kind of dark side, or dark secret he keeps hidden? If so, what could it be?

You actually got through it? I couldnt even make it through my friend reading it to me. xD
Well it would be nice for him to at least have a hint of a dark side. Cause nearly everyone does but I dont want him to have a dark sexret.... Thats just too much for dear sweet Cullen.

LOL it was rough going, but once I forced myself to get far enough, I had to know how it ended!

What if alcoholism runs in his family? Or... What if... After his torture he went self destructive for a while? I don't wish it for him, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's more lurking under that professional exterior.

Well there's no way our PC would be OGB. Devs have said time again that OGB's existence is not canon; it still depends on your choices.

Could it be child of GW... Or particularly of a "special" GW? I.e. Alistair, son of Fiona...? Seems like they already had potential for that with Alistair, esp once he became GW himself, but they didn't go there. Alistair's child...?

Hmm, curious. If it's totally naturally occurring, it would feed my dark spawn is some kind of plague idea that I got from reading the Calling. That darks pawn are just some strange evolutionary step that's here to stay. which basically means I have no idea... :)

... So his/her mum shagged a friendly Darkspawn?

I think what R2 means is that darkspawn evolved from something and in the intervening years humanity has sort of jumped and developed a safety mechanism, a sixth sense to locate darkspawn. We also don't know what the results of a grey warden's child would be since its so rare. For all we know it's a natural occurence in Grey Warden children that simply hasn't been tested or noticed.

yeah OGB wouldn't be more than 10 or 15 probably if the game picks up shortly after DA2..,but then, those godlike genes... Don't they always come with enhanced growth rates... :) ?

Very true lol and hopefully his age wouldnt be the only thing with enhanced groth haha;)

Bleugh! I could never romance the OGB! If the Warden is the father then it would feel like incest, if Alistair is the daddy then it would feel like cheating on the father with the son (and still kinda incestuous), and if Loghain is the father... then it would still just feel weird to me. Plus Morrigan was awesome, I'd feel like I was betraying her by sexing up her kid... too weird for my tastes.

Maybe he killed a child suspected of consorting with demons similar to Connor. Or maybe...just maybe...he kills the Divine but the explosion covers up his crimes...*shift eyes*

Yes. iPad makes me terse since window doesn't scroll down!

I would be fascinating to see people begin to develop these things naturally as the whole planet responds to the darks pawn incursion. In the Calling, they talk about how a Blight is really like a biblical plague, blighting the land itself, not just starting a war between darkspawn and humans.

Idk I personally would feel no weirder than when my Hawke planted his flag where the Warden...and Zevran *shivvers* has already been. I guess it's because I sort of seperate these characters as it is, though I have a little fanfic with Dagen Cousland (OGB) floating around where he meets Hawke and Isabela.

The only thing I'm wondering about though is isn't the OGB only like 10? I mean tis a bit odd romancing a 10 yr old,,,just my 2 cents.

I doubt the OGB will be a companion, let alone a romancable one lol. If that supposedly leak is real (which I doubt since there appears to be no trace of it anywhere) then if the protagonist does have spawny-senses then it'll probably be down to some weird genetic thing, since I doubt we'd start out life as a Warden again.

Unless DA3 timeskips, yes but if DA3 did timeskip enough for it not to be weird romancing the OGB then Cullen would probably be out of the question...

Yeah they seem to be something that sort of curbs the nations of Thedas from really expanding any further than they are, but so far LEgacy seems to support them being Magisters which was awesome imo, seeing how the first darkspawn could have been THAT powerful. I mean can you imagine an army of Corypheus and Architects?

Ooh thats really nice actually. I tend to avoid fanart like this so I can imagine the character the way I want until BioWare actually creates the character in-game. Gah, the resemblance to Morrigan is uncanny! On a side not Maker hes hot...

Yeah I agree, though I'm biased because I really don't want him to be a companion...at least not one that's NOT optional. I did the dark ritual and had my Warden leave with Morrigan, but I just don't think anyone could write him in a way that would satisfy my dreams for him as a character especially one raised by my Warden.

It might explain why in those leaked pics the Inquisitor had an electrified gauntlet. Sort of like how Dawn Star in Jade Empire just sort of sees ghosts. I didn't play that game though I wish I had.

Me to but I rarely find stuff this good especially since it fits perfectly with what I imagined a human/elf child OGB would look like. The default for lack of a better term. It would obviously be different with a Dwarf father though.

Oh yeah hed be more stout i guess...*Generalization??*  He looks the perfect son for my only Warden that romanced her. Sometimes I forget Dwarves can have romances too, cause they never do in my games... :?

Damn, I wanna find out if that supposed leak actually exists or if it was just some idiot trolling.
