Indeed, we're normally a bit more Cullen focused (as I suppose you would know!   ) but I think we've needed to get our sillies out with the DA3 announcement.

I love how Cullen the Horsewasher is becoming it's own meme on the Cullen forum. Maybe that should be our next challenge... art, crafts, fic, all dedicated to different takes on that. LOL

OK, so speaking of horse washing, let's go there again.

If Cullen were to get kicked out of the templars following Act 3 but not thrown or prison or anything like that, just "let go" but with good references, what would he do next? Go back to family  farm? Join the guard? Mercenary? Other ideas?

Geez, I bet he'd also be wondering what to do...maybe he'd become a guard or something? I mean, thats what he's lived with doing and I think he want to go back to something he's familiar with..

I agree with Shades_Of_Pale. Leaving the Order - kicked out or maybe even willingly - would probably be really hard for him. Since, well, it's everything he has known so far (or so we can assume, knowing so little about his past/family :/ ). Being a guard or mercenary might give him a sense of security...

I think he'd still sort of go about being a templar in some capacity maybe not full on circle duty or mage hunting, but maybe he protects the town or hunts mages for a profit, not in a malicious way, but more of "Oh you have abomination problems? Okay I'll get rid of them, but need some sovereigns."

I brought up a while ago my ronin theory where he just sort of goes where the money is so he can survive but also where his skills are needed. No doubt that some small village is getting overrun by demons or abominations and with the rest of the templars/seekers so busy with the war the loyalists (Cassandra/Cullen) are really really busy actually doing their duty,

Also to the discussion I sort of missed I think the rebellion/Right of Annulment was the final quest in DA2 however the game ends before it's actually over. I remember hearing that Kirkwall receives reinforcements so I suppose that means that regardless of what Cullen had decided if the reinforcements had involved a Knight-Commander that new KC would have taken over Kirkwall's circle.

Hello guys and gals! If I seem a little in the dark about current discussions, it's because I saw the dialogue about Asunder and jumped to the end of the thread to avoid spoilers. I'll try not to be a pest though. Hows' everyone?

Hm, so that means Cassandra stayed as part of the rebelled Seeker/Templar Order then? Yet she was with Leliana who was also in the Seeker uniform... Maybe Leliana's spying on the Order from within, like a sleeper agent of sorts?

... Would have thought Cass would have been one of the first to ditch the rebel Order(s) to stay with the Divine... Given DotS and everything? Unless she's a type of sleeper agent too?

I think they're the loyalist faction of Templars/Seekers though IthinkDG has stated that Leliana isn't a Seeker and that they don't actually have a set uniform.

But if Cullen is an companion/LI in DA3... well... then it's him and the PC like there is no tomrorrow... xD

Maybe though I don't see an issue if they keep their names. All they have to do is distinguish who they are by saying, Loyalist or Rebel, maybe they just have different uniforms like rebel Seekers have their symbol scratched out or the loyalists adopt a new one entirely. They're still Seekers/Templar just two different factions within the same order similar to how there is the Black Divine/White Divine.

Edit: Remind me not to visit the DA wiki forums, they can get super foul in there lol.
