That's true! I'm hoping they'll just keep the characters all looking pretty much the same and just make the backgrounds and settings look prettier or dirtier and all round more impressive in DA3, I also hope they give us more customisation options for our PC, like more hairstyles and colours, more variety of facial features with more advanced options to adapt and tweak them.

lol yes! I thought all the elves looked like stretched out versions of E.T. I think they know who the companions are also. Aw man, guess theres no more hope in me pursuading them to add Cullen as a companion, unless he already is one. I think we all know Cassandra's going to be a companion or at least I'm about 70% sure. I also think we're getting an old companion back, my guess is it'll either be Morrigan, Leliana, Varric, or Shale. Possibly Oghren?They have to know how high the fan demand is for Cullen, I think it's even higher than it was for Anders!

I think if an old character comes back it'll have to be one of the non-romanceable ones because there are too many variables that could go wrong if it was someone like Leliana for example, because fans would moan if you couldn't romance her and people would moan if you could because she might have romanced your Warden in DA:O or behave out of character etc. So maybe the returning companion might be Finn from Awakening or Shale, Oghren, or maybe even Varric or Aveline.

I really don't want Cassandra as a companion, I don't know why, I just don't like her lol. How did fans catch the attention of the Dev's in order to get Anders as a companion again in DA2?

Oh yeah you're probably right about the romance companion returning thing. I don't really mind if Cassandra comes back, I used to not like her but I've warmed up to the different side of her you see every now and then. Though I don't really care whether she comes back or not. I think they just commented on the forums like we're doing! I started playing DAO right before DA2 came out so I wasn't on the forums then. But I hope we're not missing out on like some secret technique of getting them to use Cullen as a companion lol

I guess I could go into the Anders fan thread and ask them? Although they might be a bit hostile at the idea of Cullen becoming a possible love interest, since they're all probably heavily pro-mage in there LOL.

Um... I rather like the elves' look in DA2. Some of them were ugly and I don't know if it was the redesign or just the face was done that way but overall, I liked it. It made them look truly different. I dug Fenris' look most of all. Anders... his face in DAA reminded me of Alistair's from DAO - all manly and chiseled! But in DA2, Anders' face looked... softer? Rounder? I dunno, he just seemed less chiseled more doughy even though he wasn't, by any means, fat! He was just squishier to me. In the love scene, the angle his face is at is awesome because it streamlines it more and give him some of his angles back.

Zevran was just scary. I know they were trying to conform him to the new elf look but even the things that could have remained the same about his face were different. If it weren't for the hair and voice, I wouldn't have known it was him. 

As for Cullen, I prefer his DA2 look all the way. Don't. Change. A. Thing. Bioware! Well... you can improve on the hair texture and make the eyes a little less glassy - but that's it!

That's true! I agree, one thing I would love to see in the character creater that has yet to be implemented in a Bioware game is long hair! get the clipping and everything but I've seen plenty of other games that use big armor with long hair so there must be some sort of work around for it. I hope they make the enviroments more colorful and diverse like they did in DAO also

They really improved on the environments and the way in which they were used in battle in the MotA dlc, It was a nice change from the greys and browns of Kirkwall. Did you notice the Krogan statue above the door in the Chateau Haine? Such a cool little Easter egg!

I hope they do give us long hair in DA3, there must be some way around it, still at least we were given shoulder length hair this time round which was better than nothing.

Yes, the freakishly thick and fat and big ears need to go. They're not lumps of play-doh slapped on the sides of their heads! Only Odo can rock ears like that and he's a changeling so he has a good reason.

I think there is a bit of a fan demand though the devs pretty much already outed that idea. I thought of Nathaniel too except I realised he had a sword and sheild. Oh and a mustache!

Oh yeah, he's a rogue isn't he lol. Gah I don't want a bloody Grey Warden companion I'm bored of them now!

He and Oghren are both second on my 'want' list for DA3.  I did like Orsino--but Orsino lost my respect after what he did to the dead mages, and obviously, we had to kill him.  I really don't want Isabella to return though.  She's the only one I really oppose returning

Oh good idea! The Anders thread seems to be running a little slow and I imagine there's probably new people on it now than this that were on it then so I'll create a forum asking them about it, wish me luck...
