I mean did it take away from the romance that Sebastian was only romanceable by woman?

Sebastian's romance might not be the best example. For one thing, the only difference between a man flirting with Sebastian and a woman flirting with him is that Sebastian will propose a chaste marriage to a female. All the flirts are identical. All of Sebastians responses to flirts are identical.

The example kinda proves my point rather than the one that says that single-orientation romances are somehow "deeper". Sebastian was not fully available to every gender. It was also the least developed of all the DA2 romances. Dividing resources between more "special interest" candidates means that those options are going to get less resources than they would have received had they been open to everyone. I'd rather see four fully-implemented bisexual romances than 2/2/2 neglected ones.

I'm not quoting you to single you out, Danny Boy 7. It's just that you've raised a point that sometimes gets overlooked.

LMAO! My sleep patterns are absolutely wrecked now. I don't even think I'm running on any kind of Earth time anymore... it's just as well that I was made redundant from my job a couple of months ago! I think the only way I'm gonna get back to English time is to pull an all nighter and drink a lot of coffee to stop me conking out during daylight hours.

Aww I'm sorry that happened to you ... in other news, I had no idea you were English until you used the word "redundant" there lol I think they used it like that in British Office (only Office I will watch :P)

p.s. I hope we can leave off discussing the bi LI thing; it's really really close to my heart, and I've been struggling not to say anything. It gets talked enough about in other threads, and usually I can just avoid those threads...

Mind you, they pretty much did that in ME3 with Jacob, he gets the doctor pregnant (voiced by female Hawke funnily enough) whilst you're hauled up in prison, then he decides to stay with her. The doctor even tells you that Jacob still loves Shepard but that he'd be better off with her so you have no choice but to let her have him.

This guy, Jacob ... he shouldn't have even been in ME3 if you hadn't played the other two. He felt like this character that was shoved into the story, and I totally didn't give a crap about him and his doctor and their kid lol

I really really want to talk about it, but I'll leave it be for you. Berelinde will likely beat me with logic anyway.

Edit: It's okay btw that you don't want to discuss it. I mean I'm a very religious person but I'm glad this thread doesn't get run down in the politics of the real world.

Also 800 WOOOOOOOO

I'm fine with my companions dating each other or whatever, but I swear if they don't make Cullen a LI and I have to WATCH him flirt with another of my companions, I'll kill em both off. I don't care if he falls for my only damn healer, I'll stock up on the ****ing potions.

I know, I know. I held off as long as I could, but I couldn't take it anymore. I kept thinking, "Where's moto? She's my man-Hawke-loving sister in debauchery (or something like that). This has to be getting under her skin, too."

But I'll stop, I promise.

We just say "I was laid off" (polite) or "I was fired" (when you're really upset/depressed) or "I was given the pink slip" (jokingly)

The Office was. a. RIOT!!! Sometimes I had to look away from the screen when Ricky Gervais was doing or saying something just AWFUL lol

AHAHAHA Yup yup I was here all along! But the Cullen thread, well let's just say ... it's the last place on the BSN where I feel safe and where I feel like *tiny voice* I belong and people like me LOL

So ... I don't like to argue, and I love DA, and arguing about it hurts. :crying:

Oh, being made redundant is different from being fired lol. Laid off is the same as being made redundant in England. Ricky Gervais is mad as a hatter, very strange man. Fun though!

I am for ^_^ And I respect those who would rather it be like ME3. But I disagree. But let's not disagree before the Sacred Altar of Cullen. Such bickering is blasphemous! And if I'm going to be blasphemous in front of Cullen, I don't want it to be for that *wink*

We both prefer to roleplay male protagonists, but we like male LIs. There aren't a lot of us out there, but there are a few.

The actor who voices Wheatley from Portal 2 is in The Office too. What's the American version of The Office like? Any good?

Wow, happy 800!

Yes, I'm not from England motomotogirl, but I am curious as to what you would call it. Laid off?

re the relationship discussion: Honestly, the most important thing is not the LIs having limited or unlimited orientations, it's that the romances are developed and implemented well, as berelinde suggested.

I vary with my protagonists. My canon Warden is the Amell female romancing Alistair, but my canon Hawke is always a male mage romancing Anders.

I love all the people. Except for the stupid people on the BSN. So...I love like, five people total. This thread excluded. Mostly.
