I think it's a strange fit for Dragon Age, but I might try it out. I hope they have other modes instead of just a co-op/team mode though.

Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 2 had multiplayer. In them, one player created the main character and the other players were left trailing along in the dust with their thumbs up their butts while no one in the game world even acknowledged their presence. It didn't break anything, but it was definitely un-fun.

That said, arena mode could be cool. Not bragging (OK, totally bragging),  but I'm not bad at the whole gaming tactics thingy. Assuming that the game isn't built around real money purchased gear and an auction house, I won't embarrass myself. At least not that way.

I think an arena mode would definitely work better in a Dragon Age game. I just hope it doesn't take resources away from the main game. I'd hate for it to be filled up with hundreds of empty fetch quests (more so than DA2) etc, just because MP has taken up the bulk of the attention/money/etc.
