GAH! He has to be a companion/LI in DA3! I think I might actually scream the place down if he isn't lol.

... Do you guys ever feel like Bioware is purposely keeping him just out of our reach, "taunting us with the one thing we always wanted.. but could never have" (Didja see what I did there!) But seriously though, it's like they're dangling the forbidden fruit infront of our face... which is ironic really lol.

Lol! They wan't us to feel Cullen's pain. I might just cry if Cullens not a love interest in DA3, I mean I already have it all planned out! 

Lol tell me about it! The hypothetical version of DA3 in my head is amazing! I'm probably gonna be really disappointed when none of the ideas we've discussed on here actually happens! If he's not in DA3 then they better have some bloody amazing plan for him in one of the future Dragon Age titles... although I fear he'll be too old for a love interest if they leave it any longer.

I have yet another question for you all (deep joy!)

If you could ask Cullen anything in DA3 (as your PC) what would you ask him?

Aside from the obvious "Can I touch your hair?" and "Will you **** my brains out already!" I'd ask the following:

1) What was your life like growing up?

2) Are you scared of what lyrium will eventually do to your body and mind?

3) Does part of you ever regret joining/being part of the Order

4) Exactly where did you go after you were removed from the circle in Ferelden, before becoming Knight Captain?

5) Can I sleep in your tent tonight?

I was thinking, lets say that we end up with Cullen as a companion in DA3...what if one of the quests for him would be to some how intercept a lyrium trade or something along those lines and steal some for him. Or go to the dwarves and make 'a deal' with them somehow.

I wonder if he'd actually let you steal it for him or do the "right thing" and hand it to the city guards? Is it bad that I really wanna see Cullen do some under handed things in DA3?

In my ideal Dragon Age 3, the Mage/Templar War is going on - whatever side you support, you would still, at one point, have to go to Orzammar to deal with the whole, lyrium thing, trying to get them to supply it soley to your side.

As a mage player, it would be simply awesome to have to deal with trying to secure lyrium soley for mage use, but also having to deal with a templar companion (Cullen!) needing it as well - especially if he's a love interest. Lot's of DRAMA!

And there's plenty of good reasons a Templar would be traveling with a mage who's trying to win the war for mages...

Supposedly in DA3 we will be "saving the world from itself" hell know what that means though!

Hey, I just noticed today that someone added one of my drawings on deviantart to their favorites, yet when I clicked on their profile it said they were permanently banned. Does that mean they stole it? <.< It's weird, the first day I posted it already it got added to a handful of people's favorites list (and I'm Not an artist or a good one. It was a drawing with a number 2 pencil and lined paper taped together. lol

Anyone have tips on writing a romance scene?  I just wrote mine and I think it sounds just like any other one. ><

Well, when you think about it - Mages and Templars are most likely going to be at war.
This will inevitably turn into a war between nations - because if say, Ferelden becomes a safe haven for mages (which is pretty likely to happen, with Alistair/Anora on the throne), then Ferelden becomes and enemy of the Chantry/Templars/Orlais (unless the Orliasans suddenly turn on the Chantry). And the Tevinter Imperium will obviously be pro-mages.

So, with all the nations of Thedas busy fighting each other to decide the fate of the mages, it''s be silly of the Qunari to not take advantage, and invade.

So, I imagine that the PC will be someone attempting to stop all the fighting in in time to save everyone from the Qunari. In which case, it makes total sense for a Templar (Cullen) to team up with a PC who's a mage.

And maybe another Blight is starting, on top of that. Just to give the Grey Wardens something to do.

The only tip I would give (since I'm not a writer) is to not worry about what everyone else is writing and go from your gut. Write about what would turn you or your character on or something you'd only fantasize about. That is, after all, what fanfic is all about!

I have a feeling DA3s going to involve the mage/templar thing, then maybe the war between Orlais and Ferelden and the civil war in Orlais as the background, ending with whatever the wardens are working on, maybe something to do with the old gods?

From looking at the timeline, I think it said by the time Hawke and the Warden disappears, that the templar/mage war starts.  Man, I want my warden and cullen to be together in DA3   I rhink I'll be sad if he doesn't remember her.

only tip I would give (since I'm not a writer) is to not worry about

Thanks.  I'm just discouraged with my descriptions all sounding the same and the words I choose.  I tried to make mine happen gradually, but even by doing that, when I finally do put a romance scene in, it sounded like something I read before.  I made Cullen the one being aggressive.  It happens when they're in a room alone.  How typical is that? :|
