I kinda feel like if Cullen and Cassandra are both companions. Their dynamics would be pretty interesting. Cullen seems level-headed while Cassandra is more hot-headed. They could be the argumentative companion couples we have in each game like Alistair and Morrigan or Fenris and Anders.

Really? Cullen always seemed to be a bit to mellow to me to get involved in an argument with someone or should I say keep one going. I tend to think if anyone were to get into arguments it would be umm Cassandra and the Magister Dorian.

I don't see Cass having angry banter with the other companions. But in cut scenes, she will voice her opinions quite forcefully. Sort of the polar opposite of Fenris' muttered sarcastic comments.

Cullen is very level-headed, but he doesn't seem to be the pushover type like Alistair (I love Alistair, but he's generally ignore Warden's evil actions as well as Morrigan's insults). Cullen seems like he would stand up for himself if his button got pushed. He was very argumentative at the mage's tower, he raises his sword against his commander, willing to spare mages. He doesn't just go with the flow and thinks for himself. If Cassandra were to argue with him, I think he would at least try to defend himself. Plus, I love an angry Cullen. :P If he has a rivalry with Cassandra, it would be awesome just listening to the catfight.

Obviously, where did you think they get the ideal of a bloodmage from?

P.S. Wow, this forum isn't very comparable with ipad.

Ugh, tell me about it. My ipad keyboard goes nuts in the big comment window. Grr... iOS6... :shakes fist:

Have you ever told him that you don't pick a side between mages and templars in the convo following the Keran quest ending? The one where he blows up at you, telling you this is no stuffy scholar's debate??  I think he has the potential to get into an argument over something important... (and honestly, I just love that part)

Not true! You are providing a public service. If you ever get arrested, you can call me to the stand and I will speak of your good deeds.

I like that part, too. He gets more agitated if you tell him that you aren't going to pick a side than he does if you tell him you favor the mages.  I think he wants you to *know* that there is no true neutrality.

His character is so interesting. He prefers to take actions over empty words. I really hope he's available for both gender, or I will be pretty devastating. :?

I hope so, too. I think the romances will be, though, just like in DA2. David Gaider posted a while ago that if he had infinite resources, he would like to do the "one straight/one bi/one gay" thing, but since that means six romances instead of four, they do two bi to provide choice while staying within budget.

Does it mean that everyone is romanceable by any gender? I would love that. I personally would love a s/s only character like Kaidan or Alistair, but if it's not possible, everyone is romaceable would be the best alternative.

Yes, that means a total of four bi LIs, two per gender. They haven't announced the companions yet, so it's still a little early to be rooting for an equal-opportunity Cullen romance, but when the time comes, I'll be rooting right beside you. :)

If Cullen is confirmed to be s/s romanceable then I kinda want a noble male character to be romanceable as well. Both noble LIs in DA series are straight. Alistair and Sebastian. While I don't care much for Sebastian, I kinda like for a noble character to be romanceable by s/s. It would add a bit of variety from the usually s/s characters with commoner background. Of course my main file would be Cullen, but alternative choices for additional playthrough couldn't hurt. :)

Hmm, I don't know. In DAO and DA2, the romanceable males were one human and one elf. I don't know if they're planning on continuing the trend, or if they're planning on mixing it up. I'm kinda hoping that the other romanceable guy is Galyan, a mage, but he's human, too, so who knows? We've never had a dwarven or kossith LI, either.

I guess we're going to have to wait and see what they come up with. At this point, all we know is that if the game has romances, gender won't be a barrier.

Arisok is a noble, too, so maybe he's romanceable. lol, j/k. If Morrigan can't handle Arisok, I don't think anyone can.
I'm not a big fan of elves or dwarven, so I would prefer both LIs as humans. Kossith LI would be interesting though. I really want them to add jealous conversation like DAO where they confront yopu if you start two-timing them. Angry Cullen. <3

If one of the male LIs is Cullen, a fairly masculine-looking guy... then I think I'd want the other to be an elf, and barring that, maybe a young man. Maybe a young mage?

I do so hope I can romance dear Cullen with an elf. I can't see myself creating a Hawke-looking character to be with him. But I dunno... I did have that Anders x Cullen dream lol But I don't see it impossible for me to try romancing him with a woman, too. I think it's either woman or elf boy for me.

It'd be really nice if they made a BSN app someday, or even a mobile version of the site that makes it easier to reply.
