If the leak was definitely real, the whole Inquisitor title option mentioned in the survey might have been a lucky guess.

I kid. I know that you're avoiding getting your hopes up, and that's probably for the best. And we may still be disappointed. For all we know, Greg Ellis was in the studio recording another templar asking if anybody has seen a blond elf running around.
Does anybody remember before DA2's release, when somebody posted a group portrait of everyone standing in front of the Chantry doors? Fenris had just been announced as a companion following some leaked concept art, and the group portrait featured a blond mage-looking guy. There was considerable debate about whether or not it was Anders. The hair was different, the face was subtly different. People were speculating like no tomorrow and the devs were leaving them to it.The guy in the picture *was* Anders, as it turned out, but he was very different than anyone thought he would be. Elation turned to rage pretty quickly, IIRC.
Anyway, the point here isn't to frighten you with the thought that Cullen has had a personality transplant. It was necessary with Anders because he had already been in one game as a follower and his personality had already been explored as much as it could have been, but Cullen is a complete unknown. We know that he is polite, conscientious, and likes to play by the rules. Apart from that, we know nothing at all. You don't have to rewrite a character that has not yet been written the first time.
The point is to say
Silence =/= No

yeah, I'm still a little skeptical of the leaked survey and that it will be right on all counts. But who knows. I'm also trying to keep my expectations in check, tho. I think Cullen will be in for sure... But he could still just be an NPC.

How interesting would it be, tho, if it were a piece of her crazy-sword? That it's slowly been whispering to him over time... And that's his personal quest: to divest him of his "precious"? LOL

The funny thing is when they finally announced Anders I basically wrote out his entire story lol. Not to say that it was ENTIRELY predictable but I didn't expect his personality not to change when they said he'd been possesed and even speculated that Justice would come out at times. Obviously I didn't expect him to blow up the Chantry but they sort of spoiled his character.
With that I'm sure Cullen will be in the game, but in what capacity I can't be totally sure. The fact that his VO had a recording session, a "leaked" survey had his picture and Bioware announced the game because too much was getting out. Now it could be a coincedence but just as much says that he could be a companion.
But even if he doesn't make it into this game as a companion doesn't mean he won't make it into the next one, consider he survives DA3 and there is a DA4

Hey, it's better than Meredith's mumified, lyrium-infused finger. Although given Cullen's probable addiction issues, the latter would double as emergency rations.

I think Meredith would have been a stunner in her day, before she got old... and mad. Mind you, she's still attractive for an old bird!

The Enigma of Kirkwall is a series of notes from a mysterious "Band of Three". There are four notes per act, and they describe segments of Kirkwall's bloody history, which explains why the Veil is so thin. In Act 1, the Enigmas are located in the Gallows, in the Alienage at night, in the Bone Pit, and in Seneschal Bran's office. In Act 2, there is one in Darktown near the elevator to Lowtown, in a dungeon (maybe the Disused Passage?), in the Qunari compound, and in the tunnels used for Dissent. I don't remember where all of them are in Act 3, but I remember that one of them is in the office next door to Meredith's. There are four per act, I think, but only 3 are required for the achievement. The easiest way to find them is to hold down the tab key (or the console equivalent), but you can spot them in outdoor urban settings because they look like a cluster of bricks strewn across the ground.

So just curious but did you look for the Fell Grimoire or just destory the individual tomes?
