I live on a college campus, so I may bump into him eventually. I wish I could take a picture of him, but it would look pretty stalkish though. My school has a lot of hot guys. It's awesome.ladyshamen wrote...
Where? Just point, we can find him!!!!!!!!!

@ Battle, me , being the nut that I am, would walk up and ask if I could take his picture. Of course I'm probably older than you, and have lost all kinds of, hmmm, shyness. Yes, I'll go with that

Maybe the next time I see him, I'll pretend to take the picture of the landscape which include him in it and post it here.ladyshamen wrote...

They're great games. You may find them to be rather different from what you're used to, but once you stop trying to rotate the screen for a better view, you may find yourself enjoying them greatly. I usually recommend that a person's first playthrough of any game be without mods, but you're likely to find Baldur's Gate 1 a little barren without more companion interaction. With that in mind, I'd recommend doing one of the conversions, Tutu or Baldur's Gate Trilogy, and installing the Baldur's Gate NPC Project. I'm very familiar with them, so let me know if you decide to go that route and need pointers for installation, etc.
I'm not sure my computer can handle them so it'll only be the console versions I'll be able to play. Thanks though!

What would he find most comfortable?
What would we like to see him in (besides his birthday suit - first one to say it loses!)
What do we think of seeing him possibly in some Seeker armor?

Cullen is a warrior to the bone, so attempting to disguise himself as a harlequin, say, would not work out well. I could see him attempting to pass as a mercenary, perhaps with a few Andrastian symbols on his armor, shield, and person. Devout warriors have always worn symbols of their faith regardless of whether or not they belong to holy orders, so I don't imagine that he'd stand out too much if he had a discreet Sword of Mercy embroidered on his tabbard.
@Lola: As far as I know, BG1 & BG2 are PC-only. Dark Alliance is for consoles, but it is really lame. That said, I would be surprised if your computer could not run BG/BG2. The latter was released in 2000. Unless you are rocking a 286 running Windows 3.1, you should be fine. If anything, it's players with new, modern computers that have trouble. I have to keep my ancient laptop up and running because my modding tools won't run on my newer desktop.

I picture him being really uncomfortable in any armor but his Templar armor, so I think he'd have a big period of adjustment. He can always replace it with other massive armor, which may even be as good, but I see him feeling naked without the heraldry. The symbol of who is he, which ostensibly also provides another kind of shield against the outside world. Most average folks won't frak with a Templar.brushyourteeth wrote...
Okay, maybe we've talked about this before -- but Cullen. In something besides the standard-issue heavy Templar plate.

that said, I would see seeker armor feeling quite natural since it would be more like a promotion than a change of character.
regular clothes, I see him not really caring much about... With an 'eh, they're clothes, they cover nakedness' kind of attitude.

It has been pushed back to the end of November. I wouldn't be surprised if it were delayed again. If it ever does come out, I'll buy it because I need to make sure that my mods will run on it and adapt them if necessary, but we'll see. It seems to be designed around the paid DLC principle. Modders have been making free mods for BG/BG2 for years. I'm kind of meh about having to go out and buy things just to be sure the free stuff folks have spent years developing will work.R2s Muse wrote...
Isn't there also that new version of BG2 coming out soon, like, nov?
Edit: Don't let me derail the thread, though.

But that means that they're talking about Cullen. In what context, they don't say.
Some appliances require distilled water to operate. I think the coffeemaker at BioWare runs on tears of frustration.

Tell me about it. Someone else tweeted "Going to read this as confirmation Cullen is in DA3 and be VERY HAPPY. :)" to which Mr. Gaider replied "Even if it's his full name on a tombstone?"
I then stated that I will let the Marquis De Sade know to keep his whip handy - looks like he has a rival.
(Honestly, do they have training seminars in sadism over there?)
