I suspect it may come naturally to DG. Part of the creative process, you know.  It's awesome to hear that they're not only talking about him, but filling in character traits like his last name. Hopefully that info will come along as part of his own personal storyline .

Nah, he could still be an orphan. That just means that he knew who one of his parents were. Or that he got creative when filling out the Templar application form. Maybe he put something wacked out, like "Snugglebottom".

OK, if meanie and I are both thinking it, it must be true. Cullen's last name must contain the word "bottom".

OMG Well the fact that DG did not even know his last name suggests that Cullen may not have a pivotal role at all in the game. I mean the writing is supposed to finished.

I doubt he'd say he liked THAT as a last name for Cullen ... Also, if DG isn't writing him, I'm not surprised he wouldn't remember his last name, companion or not. If it isn't relevant to anything, then why would he with all the other details he must have floating around in his brain. I Mean, I totally can't remember Wynne's last name, though I'm sure she has one. Is it important that Zevran's last name is Arienai? (sp?) Not really. Does it diminish their characters? Not for me. Heck, we didn't even know Alistair's last name until it was revealed in the story, but it didn't make me like him any more or less as a companion. My point is simply that it doesn't diminish my optimism because I don't find it odd, is all. by the way, what is Wynne's last name?
