I did love the dog rivalries in DA2 and how each companion had their own relationship with your dog. I'd love to see that again.

Great question. I can't help but imagine that he, like any Fereldan, would love having a dog. In his case, I could see him being baffled by the fact that it's a puppy at first.

C: Sit.
dog: ... *tilts head*
C: Sit.
dog: *rolls at his feet, then starts to chew on his boot*
C: Stop that... stop... argh. Heel.
dog: *sits up, pants, tongue lolls out*
C: Andraste's breath, why don't you listen. *against his will leans down and pats it awkwardly on the head*
dogs: *immediately starts licking his hand*
C: *smiles grudgingly*

I loved Morrigan (especially morrigan's) and Alistair's interaction with the dog in DAO. Sten's too. I wish the rest of the companions had had scenes like that.

Super cute scene R2! I have no doubt that he'd love the dog, and appreciate its loyalty, but I wonder if he'd be one of those people that would be put off by the licking ... I think that Mabari's are the type that might slobber a lot.

I completely agree!!

I also agree with you, Narcia - i can see Cullen being kind of picky about cleanliness and stuff, so the licking and being smelly could be off-putting. But he'd love the attention in the end!

LOL Good point! I wonder if he'd be vocal and complain, trying to seem uptight about the slobbering and mess and smell, but secretly not really care so much. LOl Or maybe he bathes the dog, like everyday. It's a ritual that becomes rather comic because inevitably two minutes later the dog is rolling in some godawful thing.
