Gah, crappy time zone differences! If anything gets announced, I'll miss all the excitement Can somebody please keep a record of anything interesting that gets announced (like update top posts every page or something) so that us poor Australians don't have to wade through 20+ pages for bits of information when we finally get online? Then again I'm being optimistic, nothing might get announced at all, but I thought I'd ask just in case the thread blows up with excitement or something

If any of your game-love-interests were real, and you had to pick one (an only one) which would you choose?

Alistair. I think for me personally he'll be hard to beat in the romantic stakes, especially because DG said he felt like he made DA:O more about Alistair than the Warden, do he's toned all subsequent LI stories/romance arcs down since. However, I'm hoping Cullen will be able to come in at a close second if he can't be on par or better than Alistair.

Alistair. He seems like the only one of the lot who I could be with long term and not run into some serious issues. I can deal with having to make all the decisions. I can't deal with some of the other things the others have going on.

Zeveran: I love him, but he'd be more of a fling. Somebody I'd hook up with for a while and agree to go back to being "just friends" before we had to start dealing with jealousy issues. Because his promiscuity would get to be a problem after a while. I wouldn't be able to trust him.

Anders: As much as I love Anders, and I do, he's too much of a workaholic for me. His mental instability I could deal with. You don't leave somebody just because they're sick. But he'd have to learn how to put the job aside more often if we were going to make it work. That said, his codex does say that he was a thoughtful and devoted lover, so maybe it wouldn't be as bad as all that.

Fenris: Just no. His alcoholism would be a problem, but his lack of communication would be a total dealbreaker. I couldn't be with somebody who would walk out on somebody and then never talk about it. Friendship would still be possible. Friends come and friends go, as the issues in their lives demand, and when they do come back, you welcome them with open arms and ask for no explanations, but if that guy is going to be a life partner, there needs to be a lot more communication than Fenris is capable of.

Sebastian: Absolutely not. I occasionally write religious characters, but I'd never be with somebody like that in real life. Personal baggage on my part.

"Could-have-been" LIs:

Cullen: He has not yet completed his journey. He has the potential to be open-minded enough, but as he stands now, he's better suited for my fictional character creations than he is to me. And there's the religion thing.

Awakening Anders: Same as Zevran. I don't know if I'd be able to trust him.

Nathaniel: Absolutely not. He's good looking, but he has just never clicked with me. I tolerate "broody" when I  have to, but there has to be more than that to the guy, and with Nathaniel, I just don't see it.

Varric: I adore Varric, and I'm cool with guys who obsess about inanimate objects, but he's a little on the manipulative side. That said, his manipulative tendencies seem to be the kind that helps other people, and he doesn't seem incline to countermand anybody else's free will, so I might be OK with it. So, if it wasn't Alistair, it would have to be Varric.

These pictures make me giddy and impatient, lol. The people in the thread were speculating about how the archer concept art has different races could mean that we'll have races again. Which would be cool. But the races could just be for any NPCs.

There seems to be a bigger variety of demons this time too. Maybe that's something to do with the veil tearing and different types all spilling out?

That could be it, also there is Tevinter, so I assume we may be going there. Which will be cool. Would Tevinter have a larger variety of demons there because of all the things thats happened there?

I dunno, there seem to be a lot of greyed out characters and stuff so maybe that's what the companions would look like so as not to give away any spoilers.
