I really don't get what is going on and it's starting to bug me. LOL. It's the only site I'm having issues with and I've researched the problem, looks like other ppl have had the same issue happen before as well. It's really putting a damper on my Cullen time lol

I researched it. So anyone with their stories stored there, another issue for some is that the stories or recent chapter disappear. So be careful. Have your files backed up somewhere.

I think it affects only some people. I don't know why. But it might be because of the update they did the other day...boooo

All this talk of a 100 Pages celebration sparked a fic that has just poured out of me for the last 3 hours! o.O I was attempting to go for lighthearted but it became more serious with hints of lighthearted here and there. And the original idea I had hasn't even made it into the story yet because of my need to make things believable. =/ I still can't believe I've nearly done a whole story in one session! O_O It's really more of a oneshot but it could weave into my Hawke/Cullen fic if I wanted it to. Hell, some of it could be considered a missing build up scene of that fic. The funniest thing? I wasn't going for any romantic tones in this and yet they seem to be there anyway.

That's so awesome! How funny that when the muse strikes, it sometimes strikes with a vengeance! LOL

So on a separate topic -- I starting flipping through the writing book I mentioned before and it says that novels should be 60,000 to 90,000 words. I'd been wondering for a while how Knight's Bloom compared with a novel in length, since I have no idea how the t ypical novel measures in words. D'oh! At 122,000 words, I guess now I can safely say... I've written a novel. I'm just stunned by that. Stunned!

I'll try to be similarly inspired on my new stuff!

I just finished my romance chapter. I'm not really satisfied with it, but it's much better than what I had initially. Since I plan on continuing it into DAO, I hope the ending to this fan fic won't seem inconclusive or inconsistent.

Have you thought of drawing a picture of Cullen while you're waiting? I'm kind of multi-tasking. I'm reading more of your fan-fic, thinking about my next chapter, and attempting to draw a picture of Cullen thinking about Surana...

I need to get my art supplies from work. I can sketch with paper and pen I guess....but I'm learning how to use my tablet lol. But I have massive ideas. Sometimes I think I have way to many ideas, not enough time, way to many hobbies, not enough time lol. I would love to eventually make a comic for each of my fanfics....but now I am jumping way ahead of myself. I wish I knew how to do that now, cause I would be working on it as we speak. Oh well, all a learning in progress

Wow. I'm envious. I used to play the piano and flute, then later dropped the flute for the alto sax, but around the same time in high school I stopped doing both; I regret giving up playing the piano (even though my cats ended up ruining our piano so much that we had to get rid of it) and horse back riding. High school was way too stressful. lol Yeah, the reason I don't get much accomplished when I'm working on a hobby or trying a new activity I'm interested in, it's because I end up thinking more about the results than actually doing it.

Well I have twin 6 year old girls. A house and husband. I'm leaving my job to attend to them. I also have a little at home scrapbook business and I garden and bartend on my spare time. So my idea of relaxing is fan art, fan fic and artwork when I can. So I decided, I need to start doing something for me for once. So I want to learn my tablet and eventially start doing comish work. Hopefully it all pans out

That sucks. I know how it can be. I have a Culen drawing I'm doing too but it's been weeks in progress, just dabbling at it. It's an action shot so perspectives and dynamic anatomy are giving me a hard time. I can't seem to get the angle on the clashing swords right. So I feel your pain.

I'm debating whether to color my drawing (which usually makes it look worse--but at the same time, it helps me tell if i'm drawing the picture okay, or if something is off)...

Does anyone have tips on how to draw eyes?  In the picture I'm looking at, his head is slanted a little, daydreaming of Surana.

it takes practice. A good practice tip is drawing with a pen. Always has the same flow, and always you have to use the same pressure

A bit too late for me to do that what I'm doing is trying to get it perfect and then when I'm satisfied use a fine tip pen and draw over it so my erasing can't screw it up.

Thanks. I'm too far in to give up =/ At least I don't have to worry about his hands or highly detailed anime hair. =|

Do you recommend me to color it?
