SO hey everybody, here's an idea for Page 1000. Some of you may recall a silly discussion we had around the end of August imagining how well, or rather not so well, Cullen would get on with Carroll. Much fun was had imagining Cullen's journal entries about it.

The notion would be to crowd source entries for the journal, with everyone thinking some up and sharing for page 1000. Something like the following. Then we'll post them here at http://templardiaries.tumblr.com/

Day 42 - I found Carroll's bloody socks under my bed again! Not only do they smell but they're always stiff and crunchy. Why would his socks be crunchy?

Day 57 - My skivies are missing.... again. I b et I'll find them in his trunk... again. He's going to tell me he was doing both our wash together.... again. I wish he'd stop. Just stop.

Day 60 - I caught Carroll "borrowing" my wash cloth again... Maker, I don't want to think about where he's been using it. Must remember to request a new one from Greagoir. Not to self: Buy new pants.

Day 61 - Found a sprig of lavender in my smallclothes drawer. Carroll blushed and said they freshen your linens. "You know, for when you finally get your hands on that pretty mage. After I'm done with her, that is." Prat.

Day 62 - Saw Carroll flirting with Amell today. Must. Punch. Something.

YAY! This will be perfect for page 1000, AND give us something to keep ourselves occupied until DA3 comes out.

Woah! You've missed A LOT!

Ok, basically they've confirmed that the new protagonist will be Human again (Mike Laidlaw said this is important to the story, however, in future games they would like to go back to multi-races options), BUT we will be able to pick from detailed (non-playable) backgrounds that will have a big impact on the story. Flemeth will be making her usual cameo, we will be visiting various places in Thedas, not just Orlais. The saved import will still happen but they are investigating ways to input our choices made in the previous DA games to ensure no flag import problems.Customisation for the companions and protagonist will be a lot bigger in DA3 than it was in the previous two games. A level in DA3 will be a lot bigger than all of DA2's levels (we presume they mean that the areas we visit will be bigger), we will have a castle that we will be able to take control of.

Before we were thinking it could sorta have a theme that Carroll is actually in love with Cullen, but doesn't know it. He brags about talking to Amell and stuff like that to try to one-up him.

Anyway, could be fun! Not to say we couldn't also do art and stories and all our usual things for page 1000... but this could be something special, and then I'll post them all on the tumblr.

Potentially, we could keep this Tumblr thing going for ages with all the fodder from both DA:O, DA2 and DA3 to varying degrees depending on if he's a companion/LI or just an npc/cameo.

Depends how far into it we go. For the most part we should keep it true to what happened in the actual game (with the odd exception for the Carroll thing), I think we should avoid it becoming a fan-fic with all the trimmings though.

I mean, we could have Cullen make reference to Surana since she would have been in the tower with Cullen and Amell, but just have him make a passing reference to her and keep the object of his affection being Amell Warden, since it ties in well with the DA2/Hawke storyline.
