first off i want to ask can you romance garrus in me1? if not ill obviously go for kaidan being the only option left.
but in me2 i cant ofcially decide between garrus and thane ,which romance had a better story and felt good enough to actually carry on into me3 in your opinion?
please share your opinion and tell me why i should go with the listed option, i would appreciate it

I always play a manShep, so can't help you on the better romance story between Garrus and Thane...why don't you google it and check out bother their romances there?...I have seen Garrus romance is very sweet, he is awkward about it.

I always liked the Liara romance, it was sweet in ME1 and had a good continuation on into ME2.
I have to agree with Elite on this. My femShep is Liara's girl all the way. The scenes are always well done and the interaction between Jennifer and Ali is always such a treat to listen to.

It also makes LotSB much less creepy if the two characters were in love.

If you want girl on girl action, go for Liara. She has some funny one-liners if Shepard pursues an ME2 romance.
Depends on if you want a crazy playthrough or a believable serious one.

While Thane's tends to be more dignified, Garrus' carries the weight of having a history with Shepard. It's easy to see them bond over the events of ME2 especially if you've taken Garrus to Horizon and see him yell at Kaiden.

im going crazy one
but garrus is one of my fave 5 so ill take him
but i heard you can take liara in the dlc regardless of what happened in me1 is that true?
amd if i romance her in me1 what effect does it have in me2?
because i want to have as many romances as possible so i dont wanna sacrifice my kaidan one for liara if liaras dont make a difference in me2

The whole DLC is 10x better with a romance. The banter becomes more meaningful and you get a pretty touching scene about where your relationship is heading.

Plus, I like the fact that he doesn't need "fixed". He's mentally stable and sure of himself, and is able to fix his own problems. My femShep helps him out on his loyalty mission, but that is the exception to his otherwise self-sufficient rule. That equals healthy in my book.

Aww, poor Jacob never gets any respect. I've tried out all of the LIs in ME2, and I must admit that Jacob has grown on me. Thane was my favorite before that, but there's something about Jacob that seems more genuine to me.

Ok, if you're going for the record of string affairs, then you can have a love triangle with Liara and Kaiden in ME1. If you suggest having them both, you're going to end up with Liara so make sure you choose Kaiden if you want to carry a romance with him. If you romance Liara in ME1, cheat on her in ME2, she'll call you on it, but will believe that Shepard wants just her if you press it in LOTSB. So while you can sleep with her on the dlc, you can still keep your ME2 LI without needing to break up with anyone. Yet.
Meanwhile, you can still flirt with Kelly and if you save her, have her dance for you should you lose your ME2 LI.
Altogether, you can sort of carry on a triad of affairs simultaneously in ME2 with an imported romance with Liara. With Kaiden, it's not known whether it will be referenced that you showed an interest in him in ME1, but I'm still hoping to see.
To review, you can romance Kaiden and Liara at the same time in ME1 but that's it. ME2 is closer to having a polyamorous relationship with Liara, an ME2 LI and Kelly (if she's counted). Oh the mess this will be in ME3.
And no, I don't condone this sort of promiscuity, but I am curious to see how much chaos will result.

Kadian is the good little soildier boy that doesn't really know what to do when it comes to talking to you
Laira is the Smart scientist, that gets attracted to you because of your link to the Prothans, and it is not much differant than the Maleshep
in ME2 its like everyone else said
Thane is the real deep emotional one
Garrus is the old friend, that, does the whole "crush on commander" thing
Jacob is the young strong soldier, that kind of grows on you.
the only thing i did not like about jacob was the fact that he worked for Cerberus, if i come to find out that he has Quit Cerberus in ME3, i might go back and make a femshep just for him
