They've been focusing on the"battle for earth" a lot, so maybe it's blue for earth... as in the blue planet. (Yes I know there are planets in ME universe with larger ocean coverage than earth, but this screen was made for humans and our planet has had that name for a while.)

I LOVE this menu. Much better than ME2's menu. It reminds me of the ME1 startup screen and menu, which were amazing and hauntingly beautiful. It also looks like it's going back to its ME1 1980's sci fi roots. All it needs is some good music playing with it.

Also, if we're viewing Earth with the Alliance space stations and ships there, how awesome would it be if you wait at the menu for a period of time and then the Reapers show up and they start fighting... ALL ON THE MAIN MENU. That would make for an epic game before you even get to the epic game.

I think it would be a good idea to have the 3 as the same font and color as the Mass Effect font and color. Any one wanna make a picture of it because thats where i put my vote.

I would rather have blue. I have never been high on red. Always liked black and blue better.

Okay, so I voted rainbow on the poll because I was in a weird mood.

But in all seriousness, red. The blue is a nice color, but it doesn't fit the mood. Red has more contrast and jumps out more, much more aggressive. Also maintains continuity with previous design elements.

Speaking strictly from a design standpoint, gotta be red.

Just because it's your favorite color doesn't mean it's a good design choice.  Trust me.

Black is a great idea. Let´s make the entire game black, or. to jokingly grab the opportunity for a shameless quote:
"Every time you try to operate one of these weird black controls that are labeled black in black on a black background, a little black light lights up black to let you know you´ve done it."

First correct guess for the origin of the quote wins 1 Internetz.


But seriously: I actually like the blue one. Looks kinda cool and sets it apart from the ME2 logo.
