Oh, that final mission was awful considering I tried to do it all using takedowns. Ugh.Mr.House wrote...
Yup, you must have gotten a diffrent game. I did a Pacist pt and it was easy with the only real challange being the final mission

I ran out of stun gun and tranq rifle ammo halfway through that mission. And gas grenades. Had to cloak through that last bridge part where you get attacked by hordes of augmented crazies. It seems that the majority of the ammo you find on Panchea is heave rifle ammo. Not good for a pacifist run.

I am kind of ambivalent about boss fights in this game. On one hand, those playing stealth non-lethal who don't have any good weapons (such as myself) are at a disadvantage (at least on Give me Deus Ex). On the otherhand, killing them is very satisfying.

I personally did not have problems with any of the bosses until Namir even though I played Steath non-lethal almost 80% of the game.

Huh?
I just walked right through them. No gun shot fired throughout the whole mission until the boss. All you have to do is sprint right forward and you're good to go.
As for the bosses, Frag Grenades or UR-DEDs make easy work of them, the deal a tone of damage and stun them long enough to simply throw another at them. I always had at least four UR-DEDs in my inventory whenever I grew tired of figuring out how to kill them without dying (stealth playthrough was my first too), I just finished the battle with some gold oldfashioned BOOMs.

I had 3 grenades, and I tossed a cannister. Then used a pistol.
Cloak was useful though.

Stun gun or EMP grenades/mines work great on stunning most of the bosses. Add in the typhoon and they're not too bad. Or an upgraded revolver with explosive ammo.

If they had a kill switch it would have been fine.

Quick question - does the difficulty "give me Deus Ex" increase the AI's ability to detect/search more "smartly" during an alarmed state? I am considering replaying HR before Dark Souls releases next month, and the added difficulty (besides the expected increase in the lethality of enemy weapons) would make the game much more satisfying during a second run.
I don't know but give me DX is pretty easy. I think it just lowers your survivability.

Now I'm wondering if my cloak has any effect on her or not? Can she still see me if I'm cloaked?

Wow, this is a pretty crazy boss fight. Just got up to Federova(sp?). The cloak thing makes it difficult but at least she's not always attacking, gives me breathing room to ressuply from lockers and whatnot.

Made that battle much easier for me.

The only lethal weapons I have are a sniper rifle and a crossbow.
