In her battle I just put mines and detonations everywhere, quickest battle beside Barret.

I had the no-recoil aug so I just shot her in the face with an SMG, I found Barret to be the most difficult because he just kept slowly walking towards me and shooting his giant chaingun arm. He never disengages from a battle and just constantly attacks you over and over again.

I remember Barrett gave me trouble initially, but I just stun gunned him laid down some EMP/gas mines around him ran to the opposite corner of the map and hid in one of the rooms. He still thought I was in the one corner room closest to him for the longest time. So I just chucked a barrel at him and then once he tried walking over , he tripped the mines I had put around him.

EMPs and concussion grenades helped a lot for Barrett's battle. It was annoying how his grenades always landed next to me even when he had his back turned against me though.

lol for Barret I just ran around threw the gas canisters at him and shotgunned him a lot.

I first did Barret just by throwing the Gas-canisters & the exploding barrels at him, I think I may have shot a few pistol-rounds & one concussion Grenade.

But yeah, defeating Barret Donkey Kong-style is for some reason extremely fun.

The tyrant leader is only hard if you took the biochip, other then that he was so disappointingly easy.

Even with the BioChip I killed him on the 3rd try, I just ran around in circles and shot him with the Combat Rifle. He was kind of a push-over . . . had a nice rifle though.

Still not quite as easy as Zhao, I think I beat her on the hardest difficulty in less than a minute, laser rifle ftw. It was.. most disappointing really.

She was the quickest for me, typhooned her then gave her a face full of heavy rifle when she was stunned.

Fedorova was super easy and fast. Find her, cloak and stand right next to her and activate the Typhoon. Fight over.

I just ran to the end, went into cover and blind shot him w2ith my laser rifle, then through a grenade and hsot him a couple of times with my pistol :innocent:

Nope I thought he was even more easy than that. I killed him on the hardest difficulty in less than 10 seconds, tbh it was less than 5 seconds. I just used the grenade launcher, he died on the spot, he didn't even get a chance to move or attack me.

Can someone please tell me where I can find the save files? My PC keeps crashing and I want to send it for repairs, but I'd rather keep the saves, but I can't find them, I searched the steam folder. Thanks.

My Steam saves are typically stored in the "my documents" folder, but I didn't purchase HR for Steam, so I cannot be 100% sure.

Well since DX:HR is Steamworks it should upload your saves to Steam via SteamCloud, if you have that enabled, I think. But I have no clue how well that works since I've never needed to use it.

I just checked where my Steam save game stuff is usually located (Program Files --> Steam--> Steamapps-->common, and didn't see any obviously labeled saves in the HR file.


Edit:  A little digging gives you this post on the Steam DX:HR forums regarding the location of the saved games:

It's in the folder steam\\userdata\\bunchofnumbers\\28050

Made that battle much easier for me.

Its the only reason I even bothered picking it up. I don't care for the boss fights they felt...out of place for me. Typhoon pretty much kills them in one hit plus a a few shots from a pistol was enough.

I'm probably going to ditch my sniper rilfe(crossbow is pretty much the same except does more damage) and get a better lethal weapons(is heavy rifle any good?)
