And it's her work that leads to the Denton brothers, so hey, she can't be all bad. of course, I can't expect gamers to set aside the self-righteous indignation at having their egos trampled by a character in a game.Slidell505 wrote...
Did you see the secret ending at the end?
Spoiler
She goes to work for ****ing Bob Page.
Spoilers ahead, lots.
She's not all bad, but she's a science ****. She broke up with Adam because he wanted a family and that would take time away from science. She was using Adam as test subject for science. She was perfectly happy working with the people that killed most of the people she saw on a daily basis, because of the science they were doing. And she works at page industries and helps create the Grey Death, because science.
Sounds like you've got a grudge. And hate women who choose career and principles over being used for procreation.
Jensen wanted a family? So what? She didn't. He needs to deal with it, and so do you. This isn't the middle ages or some backward third world culture where women's bodies can be commandeered as baby factories.
Frankly the whole Jensen + Reed couple thing made no sense to me for most of the game. I didn't sense any chemistry between them. The two characters seemed wrong for each other, and I assumed (incorrectly?) that whatever they had was over, long before the game started. Jensen and Malik seemed a much more natural pair.
That's actually (one of the few) problems I had with the plotline.
I'm comfortable with Jensen and Reed splitting up, but there was no resolution, no discussion, nothing. It felt like a very unsatisfactory conclusion between two characters who apparently cared about each other a great deal.
