- Outdated graphics.
- Several unresolved plot lines.
- Dermal armor is useless.
- No New Game+ feature kills replay value for me.
The annoying:
- A single energy cell? Are you serious?
- Storage locker anyone?
- Arcanum-style inventory limits firepower.
The good:
- Story, though predictable to some extent.
- Freedom to approach assignments and tailor your augments to match.
- Hacking mini-game can be pretty engaging at times.
I reserve the right to update this list should anything else come to mind.

You're not really suggesting I missed that bit, did you? I upgraded both power cells and inventory but the issues remain. Cell recharge goes only up to one cell and inventory size can be maxed to three extra columns I think, not nearly enough to pack a punch and go stealth.
EDIT: Oh, and dermal armor is still useless with all its upgrades.

You recharge only if you haven't depleted the entire cell. If there is even a little bit of green left it will recharge. Its intentional and imo shouldn't change.
In order not to deplete the entire cell you need to decloak or consume nutrients like mad, not to mention you can't do things like cloak and knock out a couple of guards at the same time or you'll lose cells.

I liked the idea of energy, but it could definitely use some work. The problem is mainly all the abilities which consume entire cells. Because only the first cell actively regens, it limits the utility of purchasing mutliple energy cells.

Was I the only one who thought DX:HR looked exactly like The Matrix?
Thats becuase they're both part of the Cyber punk genre, like Blade runner. I think the game is more simillar to Robocop and Blade runner.

Why do people keep saying the graphics look bad? The character models aren't great and the facial animations aren't much iver, but the enviroments are gorgeous!
Because some people have no idea what they expect from a game. DXHR looks pretty normal for a console game. It's no Witcher 2, but then again, hardly any games this generation are.

I didn't say they were bad, I said they were outdated, old. I hope they release a major update to fix this, because I'm left with the uneasy, and all too often, explanation that the dated graphics are due to console limitations and they simply ported this version to PC.

The city is great , but that's simply the décor. The style is great , but what good is it if you can't translate it to your game? I'm not a graphic junky; I'd prefer gameplay over graphics any day, but its definitely not the game's strong point (no matter what those game-revue lackeys say) . Add to this the funky hand/arm/face gestures and you got yourself something that's pretty sub par by most standards.
But you can still hate on the graphics and like the game. Hell , i hate on the graphics and the controls and i still like the game.
Mind blowing , i know.

If you drop something in your apartment it will stay for you to pick up later. In practice I'm guessing you can drop stuff anywhere you will be able to return to, but experiment at your own risk.

But just to say something completely unrelated, I invested heavily in hacking now, and the game has become a lot more fun. I went about it the wrong way when I started the game, thinking in terms of other action RPGs and wanting to build a good combat character. You can't really do that because the augments to support it aren't there or are just really bad. It's so much better just to focus on exploration augs - jumping, lifting objects, hacking, punching through walls, cloaking.
I still think the combat system feels very limited, and Jensen's pretty much made out of paper (edit: very high-tech paper) so stealth always seems like a better option.

Yes, I've done this. In fact, most, if not all, weapons and other items do not disappear when you leave the city, you can find them again when you return later on in the game.

DE3 doesn't seem to have dynamic NPC's like that, so it's safe to say you can drop a fully upgraded revolver in the middle of The Hive and nobody will try to snatch it.
As for graphics. Like I said before, some things in this game just look ugly. Some NPC's look horrible. Letitia anyone? And the cutscenes are compressed nonsense that should not be in a High Def game...like ever.
Also back to Letitia...anyone else offended by her? I'm black so in particular this seems like a giant step backwards to me.
