This thread didn't do it that well, though I don't understand why people instantly gang up on any negative thread about a character. If you try to discuss negative aspects of a certain character and explain why you don't like them, which this thread doesn't do that good of a job, shouldn't the thread not be called "troll" (which this one does deserve but I'm talking about in general).

Character discussion forums aren't about blind worshipping characters and loving every aspect of them, you can have more varied opinions of the characters if there was something you received the negative aspects of the character. Suggesting one post negativity of a character in their own thread will result in the poster being outright ganged upon.

So technically, do hate threads not serve a purpose in character discussion or do you have to like the character to talk about them at all?

I agree. I remember making an Arl Eamon hate thread on the old DA forums that went on for about 30 pages because it was all relevant. 

Different strokes for different folks. I like Miranda. Doesn't mean every Mass Effect fan should too. Same for every BW character.

It's the approach...I have had some great discussions with some forumites about the characters they love that I either don't like or seriously question, etc...keeping it civil, friendly and on the topic at hand without being trollish or insulting about it, goes a long way.

This thread is just trolling...the title and the OP....It needs the lock.
