 While I wait for my drink, let me say this. I think that it is silly for some people to spew out radical pro or con arguments about Miranda. As you've most like heard before, those kind of topics either turn incredibility repetitive and boring, or senseless and belligerent. But those who stand in the middle of the fighting that say equal opinions are correct are also not bolstering a topic's argument...This is a debate after all. And so, instead of proclaiming this subject as a 'hate' topic, I'll reaffirm the OP's initial title, as “Anti-Miranda.”


No. 1 – I'll be first clear about my view towards Miranda, as a character and plot device for the story of Mass Effect 2. Of course there are the first obvious signs of, as I have heard previously in this topic, “fan-service” in Miranda's
uniform. Although I could, I won't go off on the pity of having to so blatantly oversexualize a character, male or female, to obtain more of a fanbase.---I'll let the statictics of the fanbases of Tali and Garrus speak for themselves. Perhaps, in this regard, I am still just too naïve to believe that the placement of this kind of character is meant for something other than the obvious, which, of course, is to be a love interest to male Shepard.

Unfortuanately, the same could be argued for Jacob, as is shown through his dialogue when interacting with female Shepard: (to research this, look on youtube, those who played as female Shepard will understand what I am talking about. It is nearly impossible, as a female Shepard to talk to him plainly without having Jessica Hale talk to him in a seductive, flirty voice. This is for every selection that you can choose. )

I'll load up my next arguments in a bit. But if anyone wants to debate please go ahead. Keep this topic
